ViiVStanding with the camper all alone. Meanwhile relatively difficult. The campsites are full.
With us you will find a pitch for your camper without any neighbors. The place is about 10 minutes away from the A93 and therefore also perfectly suitable for a short stay on the passage.
In the small Schlattein valley in the middle of the Upper Palatinate Forest, surrounded by trees and meadows and the stream "Schlattein" lies a mill, the Rotzenmühle. The old farm in the Upper Palatinate architectural style reminds of the rural life in former times. One feels like in a small time travel. The mill has already experienced a lot and the buildings could certainly tell a lot. But we also give the mill a future - a new wind has been blowing since the summer of 2021.
The project is at the very beginning. But already it is a place of encounter, a place of rest and relaxation, a place of positive energy, a place where time seems to stand still and yet flows. And we want to share that with you.
We offer you a meadow surrounded by trees, in the middle of nature, far away from stress and unrest for camping.
It will be renovated. The old rural farmhouse will shine in new splendor. And even though it is a construction site, you will not notice anything of the work at your campsite. You can enjoy the peace and quiet, we promise you.
Rotzenmühle is a stand-alone farm, yet there is plenty to do in the area nearby. Take your time for hiking, biking and to enjoy the Upper Palatinate Zoigl culture.
The mill is part of the famous sculpture trail.
It's a beautiful circular hiking trail that features works by a wide variety of artists that deal with the themes of "time," "destination" and "path."
Camping at Rotzenmühle is also suitable for families. There is room to relax, romp and play. The animals are also happy about your visit.
Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival. Or within 48 hours of booking, up to one day before arrival.
