Here you can experience nature up close, let your mind wander, and escape the daily grind for a while.

Hiking and biking trails start right outside the door—for example, into the picturesque Waldnaab Valley, the Sauerbach Valley, or the nearby Steinwald Nature Park.

Despite the quiet location, you’re well connected: via the A93, you can easily reach Regensburg, Nuremberg, Bayreuth, or even Marienbad—perfect for a varied day trip.

Just 6 km away, the traditional Zoigl towns of Windischeschenbach and Neuhaus await you. A visit to one of the quaint taverns is simply a must here—and they’re easily accessible by bike.

Here, foxes and hares say good night to each other—and in the morning, our rooster greets you along with his flock of chickens.
