Ecolodge in the Hessian hinterland

Our construction trailers offer all the conditions for a self-sufficient glamping adventure in the midst of the beautiful nature of the Hessian hinterland on the edge of the nature park Lahn-Dill-Bergland. With a lot of muse and attention to detail, we have expanded the two construction trailers ourselves and helped them to new splendor. On their few square meters they now offer all the comforts for an extraordinary overnight experience.

Our "Blaumeischen" has a cozy bunk of about 140 x 180 cm. The kitchenette is equipped with gas hotplate, drinking water tank, dishes, spice rack and the most important cooking utensils. A small seating area invites to cozy get-togethers and sufficient storage space for clothes, shoes and luggage is also available.

Our "Kohlmeischen" has a cozy double bed of about 160 x 180 cm and thus offers space for 2 adults (+ 1 child if necessary). The highlight is the well-equipped, covered outdoor kitchen with gas hotplate, drinking water tank and the most important kitchen utensils.

For the small personal hygiene and the emergency toilet there is a charming toilet house with compost separation toilet and an outdoor washbasin with sink and drinking water tank. Unfortunately, there is no shower (yet).

The construction trailers can be booked individually or together for groups or families. For one night in the "Blaumeischen" we charge 60 € / night and for one night in the "Kohlmeischen" 50 € / night. The costs for the final cleaning are 20 € per wagon (one-time).

Our small lodge is located in a garden of the BUND e.V. Biedenkopf. The property is located outside the built-up area, close to the edge of the forest. In the neighborhood there are only a few other garden plots with weekend cottages. The river Lahn flows below and the Lahntal bike path and the Lahn hiking trail are only a stone's throw away. If you wish, you can have the otherwise communally used property all to yourselves. The two trailers are only rented together and not at the same time to different groups. The garden offers plenty of space, a fireplace with grill and some playground equipment are also available. The view of the castle ("Das Schloss") from there is unique. By the way, it is worth visiting the "Hinterland Museum" here and climbing the tower! Despite the natural surroundings, restaurants/cafes, a small supermarket, bakeries and butchers, as well as the outdoor swimming pool can be reached in less than 15 minutes on foot.
