The Swan's Nest is located between the forest and the lake, surrounded by green meadows. It is in a completely secluded location with a wonderful panoramic view and you don't share the space with anyone. It is completely fenced in, ideal for a vacation with your dog. You will find a cozy hut, a large stone table with benches and a campfire site. Two large trees provide shade. The Lahnwanderweg hiking trail passes by and canoeing, paddling and SUP are permitted on the lake (swimming is not). There is also a nice restaurant on the lakeshore with an outdoor terrace and e-bike charging station. A flat circular path leads around the lake. An ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours.
Facilities
The Swan's Nest is equipped with a wood-burning stove. The covered veranda with seating area and outdoor kitchen can be closed off against rain and wind. There are also washing and shower facilities outside. The separate dry toilet is right next door.
Pillows, blankets and toys are provided. A dog drinking bowl and dog toys are also available. A parasol can also be used. Your parking space is directly in front of the gate.
The Swan's Nest can also be booked in winter. We then provide you with washing facilities in the hut. The stove makes the hut cozy and warm. There is also a gas heater in the veranda in winter.
