Cabin for hire, close to Evje, in Hodnekilen, Evje and Hornnes. About 60 km Kristiansand ferrie and airport.

Cozy, older and charming place situated in close proximitiy to the Kilefjord, near of river Otra, nice for rowing and Fishing. (about 70 meters from the cabin) Much wildlife in the area, big game birds, moose, deer and much more that you can expect to see. If you wish to be close to nature and lazy days so this is the place for you!

200 meter about 3 minutt to go from the parking spot. Take whit you good shoes, Wellington is perfekt it. Road/ trail can been wet.

The cabin has a kitchen with stove and refrigerator, and a small freezer. The cabin has electricity, woodstove, satelitt, tv, and dvd. Included is also a small rowingboat in summertime. 1.5- 1.10.

Bed for seven people in two bedrooms. One double bed.

There is no online watersupply so bring your own drinkingwater. The another things can you use water from the river or raining water what is coming from roof. Lake is ( 70 meters ) from the cabin. In summertime when its dry can we take water from river whit waterpump.

Sauna Has a Water tank you can warm when saunastove is heating opp so is possible to wash yourself with warm water. ( No shower, wash you whit mix cold and warm water inside in sauna) Sauna is wery much Finnish tradisjon. During summer time, water comes straight outside the cabin with a water pump.

Cabin have biologisk compost toilett. No water. (wery normalt in Norway).

Otra is also reknowned for its good catch if your into fishing, and there are a host of organized leiseure activities nearby, including ropeadventure, gocarting, a mineralmuseum, rafting, shopping and much much more.

From here you can easily reach the costal cities like Arendal, Kristiansand, Mandal or Lindesnes, or travel further inland to Åseral or up Setesdalen with its steep mountains and Via Ferrata Helle.

In short, rent for a week, and explore to your hearts desire, while you sleep soundly close to nature, animals. You can too pick wild cranberries and blueberries just outside the cabin and go to rowboat and fishing to river just 2 minutt ( 70 meters ) from the cabin.

Is about 1.2 km. To Kilefjord camping, here you can shower for a fee. Buy ice and fast food, tourist information, boat and canoe rental, fishing license outlet. You can too bring you own little boat if you want. Talk whit satu først.

OBS! May occur a bit of noise during high season when there is a lot of traffic on the road which is 200 meters from the cabin (airline) !

There is forest between the road and the cottage.
