A paved campsite is also available if preferred.

Welcome to our meadow in Chiemgau

Here, you’ll camp on a large, quiet meadow in the middle of the countryside. Shaded spots are available under the trees of the small orchard. If you prefer a more solid surface under your wheels, you can also park on the paved area in the courtyard. Right next door is another meadow and a farm, so it’s truly rural here. The region’s lakes, mountains, and towns are still within easy reach.

• Leitgeringer See: small moor lake, about 10 minutes away

• Waginger See: The beach in Tengling is about 15 minutes away

• Chiemsee: Chieming is 20 to 25 minutes away. There, you can sail, swim, or cycle around the lake

• Many beautiful bike routes right on your doorstep

• Wöhrsee in Burghausen for swimming

• Hiking in the Chiemgau Alps: Hochfelln (about 40 to 45 min.) and Kampenwand (about 50 min.)

• Berchtesgaden Alps with the Watzmann and Hochkalter (about 1 to 1.5 hours)

• Mountain biking, for example up the Teisenberg via the forest road

• Altötting: Pilgrimage site with Kapellplatz, about 30 minutes

• Salzburg: about 45 minutes

• Bad Reichenhall and Berchtesgaden: about 1 hour

Winter

• Steinplatte-Winklmoos Ski Area: about 50 minutes

• Inzell: small ski area with a platter lift, about 40 minutes, plus the large speed skating arena (Max Aicher Arena) for ice skating

• Ruhpolding: about 40 minutes. There you’ll find many cross-country ski trails, the biathlon center, night skiing on the Unternberg, and short hiking trails

• Many other cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area
