Small, quiet, and surrounded by nature—welcome to the Kammeltal

Are you looking for a small, quiet spot surrounded by nature? Then you’ve come to the right place.

Our family-friendly campground is located on the edge of the forest in the beautiful Kammeltal valley, surrounded by meadows, fields, and plenty of peace and quiet. The Kammeltal Bike Trail runs about 200 meters from the campground, so you can easily explore the area by bike or on foot from here. The Kammel, a small river that winds its way through the entire valley, is also very close by.

Our campground is designed for self-sufficient campers who appreciate the peace and simplicity of camping in nature. You’ll be parked on a paved gravel surface and have a cozy outdoor seating area. In case of bad weather, a covered lounge area is also available for your use.

For a cozy evening, feel free to use our fire pit and grill. We provide firewood for a small fee. Of course, you’re also welcome to use the clothesline. And if you’d like, please leave us an entry in our guestbook—we’re always happy to hear who’s stayed with us and how you enjoyed your visit.

The surrounding area is perfect for long walks and dog walks. Right outside the door, you’ll find field and forest trails and the peaceful landscape of the Kammertal valley. Of course, we’re especially happy to welcome guests who—like us—enjoy spending time outdoors with their dogs.

🌳 Experience nature while still discovering plenty

Even though it’s wonderfully quiet here, the location is ideal for excursions in the surrounding area. Günzburg, Ichenhausen, and Krumbach—including a variety of shopping and dining options—are just a short drive away. For families, LEGOLAND Germany and Skyline Park are attractive destinations. Those who prefer nature and culture can visit Wettenhausen Abbey, bike along the Kammel River, or explore the numerous small paths and villages of the Kammel Valley.

You’ll also find local producers, farm stands, village shops, bakeries, and butcher shops within a 5-kilometer radius—perfect if you’d like to stock up on local products for breakfast or a barbecue while you’re out and about.

And if you simply don’t have any plans, that’s just as nice.
