A gorgeous campsite, very warm and welcoming hosts, and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended. We’d come back anytime and are so glad we stayed here.
We had a really lovely and, above all, peaceful weekend—exactly what we needed. The view is fantastic—we saw deer, a fox, and a hare 😁. Helmut took great care of us and introduced us to the cow, provided a bike for picking up bread rolls, and gave us an umbrella. The town is nice, too—there’s a beer garden with donkeys, and we saw kittens in the neighborhood, so the kids got to experience farm life as well. It’s only about a 1-kilometer walk to the Oberrieder Weiher. We’ll definitely be back.
It's always great at Helmut's. One of our favorite spots in the countryside. This was our second time here. The campsite is great, and the view is amazing—just like the host. Thanks so much for everything, Helmut. See you next time ;)
The spot is very nice and wonderfully quiet. We also really liked the view. It was great that our host even provided a cable reel for us. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet him because we were out and about all day.
Our stay was short (just one night), but it was GREAT!!! It’s a very quiet spot with a view. We were the only ones there, which guaranteed us even more peace and quiet. Even Bella the cow stayed down in the lower part of the meadow...... which was a shame in this case 😉 We would have loved to enjoy her company! Helmut is a super nice host who really goes out of his way for his guests. We’d love to come back!
