Camping site on the Blau River—close to nature and the city near Ulm. Conveniently located with good access to major roads, yet relatively quiet—traffic noise is muffled by trees and shrubs.
Spacious campsite (approx. 150 m²) on a overgrown meadow next to an old barn in an idyllic setting on the edge of an allotment garden community. The site is largely hidden from view and offers plenty of privacy—ideal for anyone seeking nature and relaxation while still being close to Ulm. Suitable only for self-sufficient campers; no water, no restroom facilities, and no waste disposal.

Dorte was kind and attentive and friendly but I’m afraid the place was not as described. We expected a bucolic idyl from the description ( barn by the river , in a meadow ) and it is not that at all. It’s a small piece of scrubby grass underneath a noise motorway that kept us up all night ( and was not muffled by the trees as was described ). Half the grass is off limits as it belongs to someone else I assume. The barn is also off limits , there’s nowhere or nothing of interest in the compound, and the river is outside the padlocked gates and not a part of the setup. I honestly had thought we were heading for a little piece of rural life near a city. It is not. I think €20 euros is way overpriced for what it is. Please be more careful about what is described in the listing. We were sadly disappointed.
Dörte was very accommodating and super friendly. The site is beautiful, and electricity seems to be included. We didn’t need any electricity. The site is shielded from prying eyes. There’s plenty of space. Unfortunately, you can hear the highway quite clearly, especially when trucks and tractors drive by. The bushes and trees don’t muffle the noise here. A very large Edeka supermarket is a 15-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the privacy wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for, since a small barbecue was taking place on the property. Still, we had a nice stay. Thanks, Dörte :)
My dog and I felt right at home and enjoyed our stay. There was electricity, too... I'd definitely come back. Thank you so much again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dörte's campground. It had everything you need for camping. The staff was very friendly. It's a wonderful place to go for a walk or a bike ride. You can enjoy the peace and quiet, or be in town in just a few minutes. We highly recommend this campground as a place to unwind.
