Welcome to our small nature campsite nestled in the heart of Mecklenburg’s wooded landscape. On our spacious property, we offer three campsites for RVs and campervans—ideal for anyone seeking peace and quiet, nature, and a relaxing stay away from large campgrounds.
Our site is designed for nature-loving guests who appreciate the special atmosphere of a private wooded property. Here, you can enjoy the silence, set out on walks or bike rides right from your campsite, and experience the starry sky far away from the city.
Please note that we are intentionally a simple, nature-oriented campsite. Currently, there is no electricity, no water, no restroom facilities, and no Wi-Fi available. Depending on the current wildfire danger level, you may use the grill or fire pit.
Since we have our own dog living on the property, we can unfortunately only accommodate guests’ dogs by prior arrangement.
Whether as a stopover on your way to the Baltic Sea or for a few quiet days in nature—we look forward to your visit.

Our natural campsite is located on a spacious wooded property on the outskirts of Hagenow. Surrounded by forests, meadows, and fields, you can enjoy plenty of peace and quiet and the beauty of nature here. Numerous trails starting right from the campsite invite you to go for walks and bike rides. Hagenow’s historic old town, as well as shopping and restaurants, are just a few minutes’ drive away. The Baltic Sea, the Mecklenburg Lake District, and the Elbe River Valley are all great destinations for day trips. At night, an impressive starry sky awaits you—far away from noise and city lights.

Public transport
The bus stop and train station are about 1.5 km away and easily accessible on foot or by bike. There are regular train connections from Hagenow to Hamburg, Schwerin, and Ludwigslust, among other destinations.
Activities
Swimming
Several lakes suitable for swimming, including Schaalsee near Zarrentin and other lakes in the area, are just a short drive away.
Horse riding
There are several horseback riding centers in the area that offer trail rides and riding lessons.
Kayaking, canoeing
In the surrounding area, rivers and lakes are perfect for canoeing and kayaking.
Cycling
The surrounding area offers a well-developed network of quiet bike paths through forests, meadows, and small villages. You can set out on a variety of tours through the Mecklenburg countryside right from the campsite.
Sailing
Sailing opportunities are available at Schaalsee in Zarrentin and on Schweriner See, among other places. Both are easily accessible by car.
Fishing
Several fishing spots are just a few minutes' drive away. A valid fishing license or fishing permit is required.
Winter sports
A special destination is the Alpincenter Hamburg-Wittenburg, which features a year-round indoor ski hall, a climbing garden, and other recreational activities. It is only about a 20-minute drive away.
Hiking
Directly from the campsite, numerous forest and country trails lead to long walks and hikes through Mecklenburg’s natural landscape.
Watching wildlife
The unspoiled natural surroundings offer ideal conditions for wildlife viewing. With a little luck, you may spot deer, fallow deer, wild boars, cranes, and many native bird species. On balmy summer nights, fireflies are also a common sight.
