Camping in the Schwerin outback at Heiligensoll

Quietly situated farmstead on the Heiligensoll, on the outskirts of a small village of 100 people. Two fenced meadows (one flat, one with a slight south-facing slope) are available for self-sufficient campers.

Next to the meadows is a small wooded area and a natural pond with trees and bushes. If you like, you can simply relax here and play a game of wild animal bingo: Depending on the season, swallows, sparrows, blackbirds, woodpeckers, jays, kites, falcons, buzzards, hares, deer, hedgehogs, foxes, ducks, rails, frogs, etc. can be spotted alongside our farm cat Bagheera. can be sighted.

In the immediate vicinity there is the village of Schossin with a beautiful park and playgrounds, as well as woods and meadows for short walks and further nature observation. At night, the magnificent starry sky can be seen thanks to low light pollution.

There are various excursion destinations nearby with a wide range of activities, which are also easy to reach by bike (depending on your fitness level): The state capital and World Heritage Site Schwerin with its 11 lakes, Hagenow, Wittenburg or Zarrentin with the Schaalsee.
