Our private campsite is a wonderful spot for a motorhome or trailer where you can relax.
The wonderful tranquility is interrupted only by birdsong. The site is located right at the edge of a field under shady trees, next to our vacant horse stable, with an endless view stretching across the fields all the way to the spire of Ankum Cathedral. The entire site is fenced in, so dogs can run freely without worry.
The nearest larger village is home not only to Germany’s tallest village church tower and a large, modernized movie theater with four screens, but also to Lake Ankum, two shopping centers, a diverse range of dining options (including themed restaurants), and much more.
Circular cycling trails in the immediate vicinity invite you to go on bike tours. Lake Alf, featuring a large water-skiing facility, is just 15 km away.

We're repeat visitors here at the Pütthaus. Thanks to Gudrun, who takes such wonderful care of her guests.

I really enjoyed my stay with Gudrun. Pure relaxation and tranquility—everything was so easygoing. The only thing was that my dog Kelly thought the fence and the tall grain were totally annoying. We had two wonderfully quiet and relaxed nights with Gudrun. We had actually only booked one, but we were so convinced that we added another one straight away. It was absolutely quiet, our dogs were able to run free - we enjoyed two days of doing absolutely nothing in absolute peace and quiet and would certainly like to come back. Gudrun was reliably available and gave us some tips for things to do and offered us fresh fruit from her fruit trees. An all-round wonderful stay.
