I really enjoyed my stay with Gudrun. Pure relaxation and tranquility—everything was so easygoing. The only thing was that my dog Kelly thought the fence and the tall grain were totally annoying. So she couldn’t satisfy her curiosity about rabbits and mice 😉. Dear Gudrun, thanks again for the warm welcome. Best regards, Andrea
We had two wonderfully quiet and relaxed nights with Gudrun. We had actually only booked one, but we were so convinced that we added another one straight away. It was absolutely quiet, our dogs were able to run free - we enjoyed two days of doing absolutely nothing in absolute peace and quiet and would certainly like to come back. Gudrun was reliably available and gave us some tips for things to do and offered us fresh fruit from her fruit trees. An all-round wonderful stay.
We felt very welcome and comfortable. Always happy to return.
A fantastic pitch in the middle of the fields. Gudrun is a very friendly, attentive and hard-working hostess, but never intrusive. The property is even fenced in and dachshund-proof. Wonderful hikes are possible directly from the site. Highly recommended for people looking for peace and quiet. We will definitely be back.
4 sunny, beautiful fall days embedded in sunflowers, wonderful place to relax, the area invites you to hike and bike. Super nice hostess, gladly again.
A lovely place to relax, with very friendly hosts who were always there for us. Our dogs were allowed to run free and we were well supplied with electricity and water on site. We will definitely be back.
We stayed with Gudrun for 3 nights. The place is really very nice, it is quiet and you can relax well. Gudrun is very nice and uncomplicated, we felt very comfortable there. The area is beautiful, you can go cycling and eat delicious ice cream in Ankum. Everything together just great. We would love to come back again. Petra
Mega great pitch. Especially if you are traveling with dogs. The terrain is completely pacified and our dogs were allowed to run free. Great for hiking and cycling. Ankum is a really nice town and easy to reach by bike. We extended our stay as soon as we arrived. I think that says it all. Gudrun is a really great hostess. It's nice to get to know people as nice as her. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!! 🤗
We spent a long weekend with Gudrun and Ralf. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful large garden. Our two small dogs were allowed to run around freely and that was not only good for them but also for us. There is a very beautiful landscape all around with gentle hills, cornfields and an environment for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. We used binoculars to watch a pair of birds of prey (red kites) over the wide barley field and a breeding pair of great egrets in the adjacent rows of trees. In the evening, cockchafers flew past the campfire and we spotted a staghorn beetle while cycling around Ankum. There is also a lot to see in Ankum and you can eat well there. We particularly liked the café with its soft ice cream. Gudrun is very helpful and gave us good tips on things to do in the area. We ended the evenings romantically with a campfire and barbecue. There is also a table tennis table with bats and balls, which we used several times. We can highly recommend this pitch. The single pitch at Gudrun's is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. We were very nicely welcomed and instructed by Gudrun and stood very idyllically under a large tree and had a nice triangle as a kind of terrace. But we could also have sat under a roof to protect us from the rain. Our dog really enjoyed the large and completely fenced property. There is a nice little circular path around the pitch that allows you to avoid the main roads. The site is quiet and you can see lots of wildlife. Thank you and best regards
Super nice Ideal with a dog. If you want to switch off, this is the right place. Gudrun is a super nice hostess. Have been there twice already.
We were at Gudrun's for a long weekend at the beginning of autumn. We were looking for relaxation. Gudrun welcomed us warmly, provided us with lots of great tips and let us camp in her fenced property. Our dog could run free on the spacious property. We had electricity and water - including gray water disposal. And that's all we needed. Organizational note: You can empty the camping toilet at the camper site 2 km away. When we drove again, it was clear to us that we will come again. Dear Gudrun, thank you for your warm and friendly welcome! We were able to recover well. A dream place for campervans or small campers. Our dog can run free here because everything is fenced. A very nice hostess super helpful with good info on the area. A nice place for people who want to enjoy peace and quiet . Gladly we come again.
This wonderful spot is a dream of a pitch. We travel with small dogs and baby. The pitch is sturdily fenced and is away from the house in the garden. We were able to set up our dog fence so that we virtually had part of the garden to ourselves. Electricity and water was at the site and there was even the possibility to wash dishes (with well water). It was incredibly quiet and we slept like logs. From the site are hours of walks possible. The small town of Ankum is idyllic and offers everything your heart desires. By bike it can be reached in 10min. Gudrun is a great host and we will definitely come back. 😊
We had a great weekend here, the place is completely fenced ideal for dog owners. During the day nice to hang out in the hammock and in the evening sitting around the campfire . I actually goes soon not at all. Thanks for the great place and the nice hostess.
Very nice and friendly person . Could spend a night there at short notice .Quiet location and Wilma ( our old Bernese mountain dog ) , has felt comfortable ☺️👍
If you love nature and are looking for peace and relaxation, you are in very good hands with Gudrun. After a warm welcome, I was able to arrive with my dogs in peace. Both were allowed to move freely on the fenced property - what a boon for all of us. There is no better way to spend a weekend. We will be very happy to come back. Electricity and water are available. Garbage can be disposed of. Thank you very much for everything. Top!!
We had a few relaxing and restful days with Gudrun and family. For us, in addition to the great view, especially the fenced property was great because we could finally let our pelt nose just run without a leash. We all enjoyed that very much. Otherwise, there was electricity directly at the camper and an outdoor sink, which makes the daily camper life very easy. Especially great we found the hospitality and helpfulness of Gudrun, who has touchingly taken care of us. Thank you!
We were with "Mr. Pössl " and our grandchildren at the Püttenhaus, were super nice welcome and a very nice, quiet place awaited us. For the kids possibility to play ball, pet horses, sleep in the tent and much more in the immediate vicinity. Conclusion: We were all allowed to experience a beautiful weekend in the best weather and will certainly come back again! Many thanks to Jürgen, Margret, Liam and Leonie.

Ochnööö, had the whole evaluation ready, pressed the wrong button, everything gone :-( Then now the quick version: Gudrun is the best, warm / friendly, the place is great - on the edge of a cornfield, secluded and quiet, electricity directly at the site, water 50m away, ping-pong table, sun loungers and fire bowl (wood is provided) can be used (Oops, sorry for the hole we burned in the lawn :-). Area is super nice, next time we have to stay longer.
Idyllic and quiet lawn under trees with a view over the fields - for coziness is provided: fire basket and sun loungers - centrally located to explore by bike the small towns and sights in the area - very friendly and uncomplicated hosts, who provided us with maps and "insider tips" - We will be back :) Kirsten and André
