Directly behind the Stördeich, a little downstream from the ceramic town of Kellinghusen, lies our small remnant farm surrounded by fields, meadows and woods. We are the last of four properties in the district of Feldhusen - after that comes only nature and space.

The idyllic surroundings invite you to extensive bicycle tours and relaxing walks and offer plenty of peace and relaxation. In the immediate vicinity of the campsites flows the Stör, where fishing enthusiasts can pursue their hobby. Guest cards of the fishing club Kellinghusen are available at hejfish.com. In addition, canoes and kayaks can be rented and tours on the Stör and Bramau can be booked through various local providers. On hot days, as an alternative to the Kellinghusen open-air swimming pool, a refreshing dip is possible at our bathing area.

Daily necessities can be purchased in various supermarkets in Kellinghusen and Wrist, a hardware store is located on the direct way to our farm.

Let the day end at a cozy spot on the dike and watch our Angus cattle while the sun slowly sets or use our fire and barbecue area to prepare a real outdoor meal.

Due to our central location in the Holsteiner Auenland, practically every place in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg is suitable for a day trip. Via the B206 the county seat Itzehoe at the A23 and the city Bad Bramstedt at the A7 can be reached in about 20 min. each.

For once, the Hinterland experience was somewhat spoiled: as we were traveling from far away, it was clear early on that we would be a little late. We therefore tried to contact Daniel, but were unable to do so via Hinterland messages, telephone or text message. When we arrived at the address given (a house with a barn), it wasn't clear where we were supposed to call, no one could be found and Daniel was still unavailable. But then we realized that there was a mown meadow on the right about 150m after the house, where two motorhomes were already parked. So we set up on the meadow too. However, the anticipation of a quiet night was spoiled: the hinterland neighbors with HH license plates obviously had something to celebrate, music was playing until about 02:00, which disturbed our sleep. We then set off on our onward journey feeling less than rested...

I stayed at Daniel's for one night with my two sons. It is a wonderful and idyllic location, which we enjoyed. Access to the Stör is not easy, but it makes the trip a real adventure. Daniel was always available and we will definitely be back! Thank you very much for this time out and opportunity!

Hello camper community, I was here from Friday to Sunday with a buddy, a VW Bulli and a DHL Bomber on the green meadow, which is huge and surrounded by trees. There were the odd pile of cows on the meadow, but that didn't bother us. The peace and quiet is fantastic. Four or five vehicles drove past during the day. You can hear lots of birdsong. I walked with the dog next to the Stör dyke, when you enter the Stör dyke you have a fantastic view over the Stör! If you need two days of rest and relaxation, Daniel on the meadow is the perfect place for you. Daniel is a nice guy, good communication.
