If you’re looking for peace, nature, and relaxation, you’ve come to the right place.
Our campsite is idyllically situated among hop fields, right next to a pond in the small hamlet of Einthal. Despite the quiet location, the Elsendorf highway exit is just 3 km away.
The surrounding area is perfect for wonderful biking and hiking tours. The nearest stop for the Kelheim recreational bus is only 1.5 km away.
Numerous attractions are also within easy reach, including:
- the Kuchlbauer Tower in Abensberg (approx. 15 km)
- Weltenburg Abbey (approx. 35 km)
- the Hall of Liberation in Kelheim (approx. 30 km)
- the cozy beer garden at Ratzenhofen Castle (approx. 1.5 km)
Families will also enjoy a trip to the Abensberg Bird Park.

We felt completely at home—the hosts were very nice! We'll be back.
This was our first time staying at Hinterland, and it was perfect. A beautiful campsite, super-friendly hosts, a lovely location—perfect for a bike ride. The restroom and shower were also very convenient and clean. We’ll definitely be back.
We were given a very warm welcome and provided with information about the area and hop farming. The shower and restroom were very clean and available at all times. We had a very peaceful night there.
