If you’re looking for peace, nature, and relaxation, you’ve come to the right place.
Our campsite is idyllically situated among hop fields, right next to a pond in the small hamlet of Einthal. Despite the quiet location, the Elsendorf highway exit is just 3 km away.
The surrounding area is perfect for wonderful biking and hiking tours. The nearest stop for the Kelheim recreational bus is only 1.5 km away.
Numerous attractions are also within easy reach, including:
- the Kuchlbauer Tower in Abensberg (approx. 15 km)
- Weltenburg Abbey (approx. 35 km)
- the Hall of Liberation in Kelheim (approx. 30 km)
- the cozy beer garden at Ratzenhofen Castle (approx. 1.5 km)
Families will also enjoy a trip to the Abensberg Bird Park.
A fire pit is available for your use. Electricity, showers, restrooms, and firewood are available for a small additional fee.

Very friendly hosts—everything was great; we'd love to come back
We started our stay here at Hinterland with Thomas and his wife. It couldn’t have gone better. We were welcomed very warmly; everything went smoothly and was totally hassle-free. Thomas was always there right away whenever we needed anything, and he was always up for a chat. The shower and bathroom were always spotless. They really go out of their way to ensure their guests’ comfort here. The area was great to explore on an e-bike. We’ll definitely be back. 👌

Absolutely beautiful location, surrounded by nature. Very friendly hosts—I’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Everything was clean and well-maintained.
We specifically booked the site for a registered birthday party and agreed in advance to reserve all campsites so that no other guests would be disturbed by the music. This arrangement was confirmed. However, once we arrived, additional campers were accommodated in the immediate vicinity. This led to complaints, and we were asked several times that evening to turn down the music. Since, in our view, the agreed-upon arrangements were not honored, we ended our party early and did not use the second day of our reservation. For anyone looking for a quiet campground to relax, however, the farm is very nice and certainly a good choice. Best regards
