Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. We had a great time. Our little Labrador had a blast, too. The beer garden by the castle is just a 2-kilometer walk away. You have to check it out!

Very nice and quiet pitch. We received a very friendly welcome from Thomas and he was very concerned about our well-being. If we ever go on vacation to the south again and need a place for an overnight stay, we will definitely book with Thomas again.

This farm pitch is a real highlight! The location is simply fantastic, you can set off directly from there and enjoy nature. The host is incredibly nice and accommodating. We felt very welcome from the very first moment. He not only gave us great tips for the surrounding area, but also made sure that we wanted for nothing. If you're looking for peace and quiet and a good base for excursions at the same time, this is the place for you. We can recommend this pitch without reservation and would be happy to come back!
We can only recommend Thomas and his family's farm and pitch. There is nothing missing, WC & shower are in a super clean condition. Thomas & family help and advise wherever they can. It was not the last time we were there. Our rating is 10 out of 10 possible points. VG Ben, Karen & Leo!
We liked it very, very much. The hosts were very nice, especially Mr. Obster gave us lots of tips. It is very secluded. If we travel to the area again, we will definitely stay there again.

Super friendly people. The whole family. I was able to celebrate my 30th birthday with 10 friends on the meadow with a barbecue and campfire. It was an unforgettable evening. Afterwards we all slept well in the tent. The contact was always friendly and always ready to help. Super pleasant and uncomplicated.

Super nice, idyllic pitch. Communication with Thomas was very quick and very friendly. The toilet and shower, which we were able to use for 5 euros per night and pitch, were super clean and heated. We would love to come again!

Relax and enjoy, also possible here with children. Very nice, quiet farm with everything you need. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were able to enjoy our stay with two small children as there were lots of toys and play opportunities. Simply fantastic. Sanitary facilities very clean, washing facilities available, electricity available directly on the meadow, quiet location, therefore also safe for children. Large beer garden with children's playground about 1.5 km away (unfortunately closed when we were there). Large meadow as a pitch, so enough space for everyone. We will definitely be back
Super place with friendly, helpful, child-friendly hosts. We were there as a couple last year, now with our daughter, son-in-law and their 3 children. Had a wonderful time!

Very nice contact, nice big straight meadow. Ideal for camping and firewood was available for a small price with a suitable fire bowl. Very nice people.

Beautiful pitch in the middle of the hop fields. Thomas is a very friendly and welcoming host, we really enjoyed the chat and info about the surroundings. Additional fee for toilet and electricity, as expected. Toilet and shower is simple, nice and clean. Sehr gut, we need to practice our german before visiting again :)

Here in Elsendorf with Thomas, we have really arrived in the hinterland. In a positive sense, of course. Pure nature and tranquillity! We were warmly welcomed by Thomas and everything went smoothly. Great and quiet pitches. The whole family is very friendly. There is a shower and toilet for a fair extra charge. Both clean and even heated.
Everything was wonderfully uncomplicated and cordial with Thomas, the place and the surroundings were fantastic! On Thomas' recommendation we spent a great afternoon with Dixie music in the beer garden🍻We were there for 3 nights and would love to come back 👍👍

A wonderful place surrounded by greenery. We had everything we needed and the kids had lots of fun and space to let off steam. Thomas and his wife are great hosts. And of course we'll be back 🥰.
The pitch, including the courtyard, meadows and ponds, is situated between hop fields in a quiet, secluded location. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival. Cute little cats made us very happy. The very friendly host explained the location and what we could explore in the surrounding area. We could choose between a nice pitch on a meadow and a straight pitch directly opposite a small pond. There was electricity, drainage for gray water and the possibility to fill up with fresh water. We paid nothing for water, electricity cost a small amount, depending on the arrangement. We were also allowed to dispose of our household waste. So for us it was the quietest New Year's Eve we have ever had, we were very happy about that. Unfortunately, however, we both fell ill with coronavirus. So we left earlier than planned. We were a little anxious when we told our friendly hosts, but they responded with the utmost compassion and warmth. That made us happy. We will definitely be back as soon as we are healthy again and it gets warmer. Thank you for the warm and friendly contact with you! Markus and Claudia Ondracek.

The place is great, as described. We were lucky and were the only guests, but even if there were several campers, you have enough space. The hosts are incredibly friendly. We had a wonderful evening with campfire (fire barrel), starry sky and heavenly peace. We will be happy to come again!

Even though our stay was a while ago, we still want to recommend this place. Thomas and his wife welcomed us very nicely and we were allowed to choose a pitch under the barn canopy. We were there with three dogs, could make beautiful walks between the hop fields and the recommended beer garden was also very good. A very relaxing stay and we will definitely come back.
We say thank you! Very nice family. The children played right away and were busy until departure with the wide range of toys.

I have informed the host 3x during the day about my arrival time (this unfortunately became later and later, because we were in total 5 hours in the traffic jam)... there was no answer from the host once. The last message to the host was that we will arrive according to Navi only around 24 your... of course it is natural that we are not welcomed by the host in the middle of the night, aaaabut we were left completely alone without info. The place is in a very secluded place, which is nice in itself... but there was no info where to put us with the caravan, where toilets or anything else are....
Thomas and his wife were very friendly and helpful The pitches are on a well-kept lawn next to a small pond with frogs and ducks. The pond is secured with a fence so that dogs and children do not jump or fall into it. The shower and toilet are clean and well maintained. Thomas can tell you everything you want to know about hop growing. Our dog could move freely everywhere. We will certainly come again. Love from the Swiss René, Petra and Yoschi.

Quiet, beautiful place! Surrounded by fields all around, in the middle of nature 😁 we were there with our dog for an overnight stay, it all worked out great. Toilet and shower completely sufficient. Thomas and his wife are very cordial! Maybe we see each other again on the return trip 👋 Tip: take pizza from Pizzeria Mario, about 3 km away
We are a family of four and were passing through on our way to Croatia. It was perfect for the one night, although I could well imagine staying here longer. Thomas and his wife are super nice hosts and especially for children is worth the fleet of children trekkers, which are freely available. The meadow is quiet, the toilet is clean. Would we come again? Definitely!
It was our first backcountry adventure and certainly not the last thanks to our great hosts. We felt very welcome. Thomas and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The place is nice and quiet. Restrooms were clean and everything you need close by. We will be back for sure!!!
The pitch is a very nice meadow. The location is very quiet. From the site you can take beautiful walks, also to a wonderful beer garden. Unfortunately, there are no more animals on the farm, this was a bit of a pity.
Very warm welcome, with short briefing of the conditions. We got electricity. Water is also available, but we have not needed. Stands on a small meadow at the farm. Depending on the weather and meadow procurement, there is enough area to stand well. The farm is very quiet, in the middle of hop fields. Can imagine us again to come over.
Super quiet place right next to a small pond, the farmhouse and the barn. Hosts are super friendly and the kids could use some of the wheeled undercarriage, the swing and the trampoline. Shower and toilet available - was a super nice stay for and with tent.
Simply great! Beautiful farm in the middle of nature, with very nice and helpful hosts. Super for cycling and hiking. A highlight is the beautiful beer garden with adventure playground in the village, only 1.5 km away. We will definitely come again!
Super quiet place. Thomas has told us many interesting things about the hops and pulled us in the morning after long rains with the tractor from the meadow. :-) We come back on warmer days and look forward when then the beer garden is open nearby.

What can we say, except where is the 6th star? Hosts top, free choice of place, with our 9 meter/9 tons vehicle we wanted / could not because of rain on the wet meadow. For this we chose a great paved place in front of the barn. Electricity at a fair price of 0.50 cents/kwh. The nearest restaurant (when the beer garden in Ratzenhofen is closed for seasonal reasons) is about 40 minutes walk away. If you expect peace and relaxation, you will not be disappointed. The place is beautifully situated on a meadow in front of a small pond. At night, with a small campfire, we could see a lot of stars. Beautiful and the hosts are also super friendly! We will come again.
We were with 2 children (7 and 4 years) and 1 dog in the caravan for 2 nights passing through the farm and had a very relaxed stay. The children could move freely around the farm and use toys, trampoline and play vehicles. We were also allowed to visit the farm tractor. Highlight was certainly the trip to Ratzenhofen Castle and the rustic Boergarten with the super adventure playground and nem HopfenDiriDari from the stone jug. On foot about 20 minutes through hops and corn fields, as it tastes then 3 times as good. Hosts are very fine and accommodating, the children did not want to leave. We will definitely come back when the itinerary goes along here.
Super hosts. We could choose our pitch freely, which of course is not always a matter of course. For this a big praise. Showers and toilets are clean 🧼 Thus, there is nothing bad that you can say about this pitch. In addition, we have had good conversations with the hosts, which in turn led to the fact that we have interesting places described that we had then also visited. Oh, one more thing.... We will come again ! ☺️
It was a very nice and relaxing stopover on the way to Austria. We were received very nicely. The tip with the beer garden in the castle Ratzenhofen was a vacation enrichment.
Unfortunately, you can not give more than 5 stars, this place including hosts deserved more. Total tranquility, away from all stress,warm and sympathetic hosts. Communication could not be better, sanitary facilities tiptop, electricity and water easily accessible and powerful. Who only stays here overnight and does not stay longer, is to blame. We are new Hinterland users and it could not have been easier for us to get started. A very loving family welcomed us with open arms, so we felt happy all around. A great pitch in beautiful nature. A small briefing on German hop cultivation was included. This will remain in our memory. Also our children (7 and 8 years) were very happy with our choice of sleeping place. We will be very happy to come again! Once again a heartfelt thank you.
A great, spacious place, the perfect stopover - no matter which direction. Wonderful, warm and communicative hosts who are always there for you. Walking distance (about 20 minutes) to a nice beer garden where you can eat and drink wonderfully. Definitely a place you would love to come back to.
Our stopover on the way to Italy 🇮🇹. A very idyllic, quiet and peaceful piece of earth with different pitch possibilities. We came with camper and trailer (total length 14.5 m) - was no problem at all 😊. We were allowed and could stand with our complete team including electricity (2€ extra) directly in front of the barn and had a wonderful view of the great biotope in front of our WoMo door. The hosts are really very friendly contemporaries 😊👍🏼. Thank you 🙏🏻!
We were two nights on the farm and can fully recommend it! Super nice hosts who are always available with advice and support (the recommendation of the beer garden was great)! Quiet and idyllic location of the farm and it was the perfect stopover on the way to the mountains. We will definitely come by again.
Beautiful area in the middle of the largest hop-growing area in the world, with a fantastic location. Thomas and Rosie are simply the warmest and most uncomplicated hosts who leave nothing to be desired by their guests. Sanitary facilities spotlessly clean and neat. Also the rapeseed oil, highly recommended. Also check out the beer garden and the pilgrimage church of St. Anton. We thank you again for this wonderful experience

We were for a weekend at Thomas u it was wonderful. Absolute peace, very friendly, helpful hosts, plenty of space, shower and toilet top. No mosquitoes in the pond (which I feared before). Fresh cherries and rapeseed oil we could also buy. So really everything is fine.
We arrived shortly after a heavy rain and got the place under the barn canopy. Here was no danger of getting stuck or having wet feet all the time. There is the possibility to use toilets and a shower in the house. Thomas is very nice and helpful!

We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful, quiet place surrounded by hop fields. Our hosts were exceptionally caring about our well-being and we felt like we were with good friends. It was very hard to say goodbye and we look forward to another visit with the Obster family.
As described. Quiet and in the Hallertau, walk away directly from the farm into the solitude.... One toilet for all with shower and separate sink - quite sufficient. Nice host - former hop farmer - who stops by every day for a quick chat (and in the evening for a quick welcome schnapps)....
