Counting sheep under the starry sky at the organic farm

Our secluded campsites are located behind our farm, and a dirt path leads from there down to the river.

In the evening, you can enjoy the last rays of the setting sun here and then gaze up at the starry sky.

Next to the campsite is a wooden cabin with indoor and outdoor seating and a fire pit.

There’s also a self-service fridge stocked with drinks.

You can plug in at the cable reel for electricity, fill up on water in the outbuilding, and use the composting toilet in the yard.

You’re welcome to buy fresh eggs, honey, lamb meat and sausage, poultry, and items from a small selection of organic, packaging-free goods from us.

Sometimes we also have fruits and vegetables.

Franconian Switzerland is perfect for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, ...

Just a few meters behind our farm, which is located on the edge of the village, you can hop on a bike and start riding on the bike path right away.

In the nearby town of Hollfeld, 500 meters down the bike path, you can enjoy a nice meal, have some ice cream, or visit the outdoor pool.

Here you can also stock up on supplies for your outings at the butcher, bakery, and supermarket.

A baker comes to the village on Tuesday at noon.

The natural swimming lake in Heiligenstadt is 16 km away, and the canoe rental in Doos is 20 km away.

Pottenstein, with its many attractions and hiking trails, is just a 25-minute drive away.

Bayreuth and Bamberg are just a 30-minute drive away.

We have many animals on our farm that you’re welcome to visit, pet, and observe.

Sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, cats, and dogs.

Please keep guest dogs on a leash, as cats and small animals roam the farm.

For younger children, a balance bike, BobbyCar, and pedal bulldog are available.

For a small rental fee, children’s bicycles, strollers, buggies, and baby carriers are available.

The playground with a climbing tower is 50 meters away.

The Wiesent River also runs past our property and is still “shallow” there.

You can walk to the pier by the water, and there’s a small rock just around the corner.
