Our secluded campsites are located behind our farm, and a dirt path leads from there down to the river.
In the evening, you can enjoy the last rays of the setting sun here and then gaze up at the starry sky.
Next to the campsite is a wooden cabin with indoor and outdoor seating and a fire pit.
There’s also a self-service fridge stocked with drinks.
You can plug in at the cable reel for electricity, fill up on water in the outbuilding, and use the composting toilet in the yard.
You’re welcome to buy fresh eggs, honey, lamb meat and sausage, poultry, and items from a small selection of organic, packaging-free goods from us.
Sometimes we also have fruits and vegetables.
Franconian Switzerland is perfect for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, ...
Just a few meters behind our farm, which is located on the edge of the village, you can hop on a bike and start riding on the bike path right away.
In the nearby town of Hollfeld, 500 meters down the bike path, you can enjoy a nice meal, have some ice cream, or visit the outdoor pool.
Here you can also stock up on supplies for your outings at the butcher, bakery, and supermarket.
A baker comes to the village on Tuesday at noon.
The natural swimming lake in Heiligenstadt is 16 km away, and the canoe rental in Doos is 20 km away.
Pottenstein, with its many attractions and hiking trails, is just a 25-minute drive away.
Bayreuth and Bamberg are just a 30-minute drive away.
We have many animals on our farm that you’re welcome to visit, pet, and observe.
Sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, cats, and dogs.
Please keep guest dogs on a leash, as cats and small animals roam the farm.
For younger children, a balance bike, BobbyCar, and pedal bulldog are available.
For a small rental fee, children’s bicycles, strollers, buggies, and baby carriers are available.
The playground with a climbing tower is 50 meters away.
The Wiesent River also runs past our property and is still “shallow” there.
You can walk to the pier by the water, and there’s a small rock just around the corner.

Wheelchair users have already been to the farm and it worked well, but it is not possible to use a wheelchair on the whole farm.

Organic Farm Tour
Join us on a farm tour to discover our farm, our animals, and the new orchard meadows. Take a look behind the scenes, watch us go about our daily work, and ask your questions right on the spot. The tour lasts about an hour and is suitable for up to 2 adults and 2 children. If you’re interested, it can also be extended for an additional fee—just ask us on-site.

The hosts were super nice, and it's a quiet place—as long as you don't mind the chickens that like to stop by every now and then. In any case, I really enjoyed it.
The stay was really nice, especially with all the animals around. Sabine is so warm and welcoming.
A very idyllic spot with a super-friendly host. We stayed for one night since we were just passing through. The main spot was already taken, but they found another option for us! We had a peaceful night and everything was perfect. As a little bonus, we came across some cute baby kittens! We’d love to come back. 😊
Even though the hosts weren't home themselves, communication was easy. The spot was right on the meadow next to the sheep, which was very relaxing.
Very friendly hosts, a beautiful, quiet place—everything was just as described. We really enjoyed our stay 😁
