Welcome to our quiet little farming village at the entrance to Franconian Switzerland. Our spacious recreational property on the Wiesent River is located directly across from our three-sided farmstead. Here you can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, bounce on the trampoline, watch trout, dragonflies, beavers, and bats, and even take a dip in the cool waters of the Wiesent. There’s a dock, an outdoor kitchen, and a fire pit.

In the morning, while watering the garden, you can harvest lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, pattypan squash, Swiss chard, celery, tomatoes, basil, chives, beans, and much more—and enjoy them fresh and crisp. If you’re interested, feel free to ask us.

Our village has a small playground and a new table tennis table. There are several supermarkets and a truly idyllic outdoor swimming pool just 2 km away. Our own kilometer-long stretch for salmon fishing runs right next to the vacation property. Fly fishermen can book day passes directly with us.

  • A beautiful, spacious campsite and very pleasant, easygoing hosts

  • A wonderful campground, shaded in the morning, with an outhouse and a nice kitchen. The stream is perfect for cooling off. The owners were also very nice and helpful.

  • This is such a wonderful little campsite if you're looking to slow down and truly relax. Nestled next to a beautiful little river and surrounded by lush greenery, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing atmosphere. We shared breakfast with the other guests in the morning, and in the evening everyone gathered for a BBQ followed by a cozy campfire. It's the kind of experience you rarely find at larger campsites. Because this place is small and peaceful, it's easy to meet other travelers if you feel like being social, while still enjoying plenty of privacy and tranquility. The facilities are absolutely great and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. A special thank you to Stephanie, who is incredibly kind and welcoming, and to Alexis, whose calm personality and wonderful stories made our stay even more memorable. We had an amazing time here and would happily return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful campsite with a warm, friendly atmosphere!

  • A place I definitely want to return to. Thank you, Alexis and family, for your hospitality!
