A natural meadow in the national park: simple, quiet, authentic

Surrounded by nature, less than 10 meters from the entrance to the Müritz National Park, lies this simple, unspoiled meadow—a place for anyone seeking peace and quiet and content with the basics.

No frills, minimal traditional infrastructure—but the buzzing of bees, the wind in the trees, and a sweeping view of the countryside. On one side lies a forest; on the other, wide-open meadows where horses and deer graze. The nearest lake is less than a three-minute walk away. At night, it gets truly dark.

Please note: This is intentionally a simple campsite with no water hookup or restroom facilities. Instead, you’ll find nature, silence, and plenty of space. Electricity is available, as are shared benches and tables. We live about 400 m away—far enough for true peace and quiet, but close enough to refill water, for example, if needed.

Suitable for tents, campers, RVs, or simply people who want to be outdoors, far away from the hustle and bustle. Barbecues are permitted at the campsite when the wildfire danger level is 3 or lower.

Respectful treatment of the surroundings is expected.

The Official Details:

Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.

1 vehicle / camper / tent = 1 campsite

A maximum of 3 campsites are permitted, and each vehicle counts as one campsite. However, you can park cars (in which you do not sleep) along the road in Unterdorf (200 m) or in the parking lot by the lake (approx. 400 m).

The quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Barking dogs also disturb the peace at night.
