Are you looking for a genuine outdoor experience instead of run-of-the-mill comfort? Welcome to our forest campsite! Here you’ll find complete silence, the rustling of leaves in summer, snow-covered tranquility in winter, and—with a little luck—visits from deer, moose, hares, and foxes.

Your campsite in the heart of nature

We offer a campsite for RVs up to 6 meters long, vans, rooftop tents, and mini-campers. You’ll be right in the heart of nature and can explore the wilderness of northern Sweden directly from your campsite—whether you’re hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, or riding a snowmobile.

The Experience Through the Seasons

* Summer vibes: A beautiful swimming lake is a 10-minute walk away along a rustic forest trail (ideal for fishing, biking, and hiking). A climbing area is about a 20-minute drive away. You’ll find a dry-separation toilet right at the campsite.

* Winter Wonderland: Located right next to winter hiking and snowmobile trails. The nearest cross-country ski trail is just a few kilometers away. Please note: Due to freezing temperatures, the toilet, outdoor shower, and fresh water are absolutely unavailable in winter. You must be completely self-sufficient during the cold season.

What to Expect

* Location & Directions: Absolutely quiet in the middle of the forest, no through traffic. The last 2 km are on a narrow gravel road (compact vehicles up to 6 m recommended).

* Self-Sufficiency & Nature: No on-site disposal for gray or black water. In the summer, mosquitoes in the heart of the Swedish forest are simply part of the genuine, authentic Northern Sweden experience!

On-site extras (>> bookable for an additional fee!)

* Sauna break: Warm up and completely unwind in our freestanding wooden sauna.

* Campfire: You can use our permanent fire pit free of charge. If you bring an axe and a saw, we’ll be happy to show you which wood you can chop yourself. Alternatively, for a fee, we can provide you with a fire basket including pre-split wood.

* Rentals & Electricity: In the summer, SUPs are available; in the winter, snowshoes (tours with an outdoor guide are possible by arrangement). Electricity is available by arrangement at our special “power station.”

* Laundry Service: I’d be happy to wash a load of laundry for you (drop-off only; no self-service).

Good to know: We speak English and German, and we’re working hard to improve our Swedish!

Ready for a great outdoor adventure? We look forward to seeing you!

What this place offers

Basics

  • Toilet

You are welcome to use our outdoor dry separation toilet before/after the frost. It is located approximately 25-50 meters from the parking space. During the frost season, you must be self-sufficient with your own toilet.

  • Dogs welcome

Welcome! We have our own very skittish old cat who might pop by from time to time. For that reason—and because we’re in the middle of the woods with plenty of wildlife—please always keep your dog on a leash.

Please clean up after your four-legged friend yourself :)

  • Cats welcome

Adventure cats are more than welcome. We have a shy, elderly cat of our own who occasionally roams around the property.

  • Electricity

Possible at one parking space, please inquire in advance if available

    7€ per night

  • Water

Possible before/after frost. Up to 40 liters/stay free of charge. You can fill your tank up to 100 liters for a small fee of EUR 3.

    3€ per usage/unit

  • Cell phone reception

Excellent with Telia & Halebop/barely usable with Comviq

  • Campfire allowed

You're welcome to use our fire pit for your campfire. If you'd like a fire basket right at your campsite, you can book one—including a box of firewood—for a small fee.

    5€ per usage/unit

  • Firewood

Do you have your own saw and axe? Then I’d be happy to show you which wood you can use for free for your campfire at our fire pit. Please leave some for the next person, too.

Don’t feel like splitting wood yourself, or do you need more firewood for the fire basket you borrowed? No problem!

    5€ per usage/unit

  • Barbecue allowed

Please use a grill that is far enough off the ground or our fire pit. Open fires on the ground or building new fire pits are not allowed 🔥

  • Other (house rules)

Leave no trace: Please leave the campsite exactly as you found it. Please take your trash with you. You’re welcome to dispose of normal amounts of household trash here; you’ll find a proper recycling station for sorting trash in the nearest town, just a few kilometers away. Since we don’t have a waste disposal station, discharging graywater and blackwater is strictly prohibited.

Fire & Safety: Campfires are permitted only at our designated fire pit or in the provided fire basket. Barbecuing is allowed only in suitable grills placed at a sufficient distance from the ground. Please check the current wildfire risk in advance (via the “Brandrisk Ute” app). In the event of strong winds or extreme dry conditions, we unfortunately must prohibit open fires for safety reasons.

Quiet Hours: We love the silence of the forest. Please avoid loud music or unnecessary noise, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

Self-Sufficiency: Please remember that you must be completely self-sufficient while staying with us. There are no facilities for disposing of gray or black water at any time of year. In winter, the outdoor toilet, shower, and fresh water are absolutely unavailable due to freezing temperatures. Please use our dry-separation toilet in the summer or your own onboard bathroom facilities at any time—and under no circumstances use the forest as a restroom. Nobody likes yellow snow!

Pets: Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and without exception throughout the entire property. This is incredibly important, as we regularly have wild animals visiting, and our skittish senior cat roams freely here.

Smoking: Please do not throw your cigarette butts into the natural environment; instead, dispose of them in your own general waste.

Vehicles: Please park your vehicle exclusively in the designated, approved area to protect the forest floor.
