Hello! I am your host here in the heart of Jämtland. I am originally from the Allgäu region, so as a child of the mountains, nature is in my blood. After many years in Munich, my husband and I set off on a world trip in 2020. We were on the road full-time for over 38 months: in a vintage camper van we converted ourselves, in a 4x4 micro camper with a roof tent, and with just our backpacks. We discovered 44 countries on four continents and fell in love with the world. After more than three years on the road, we found our personal home here in the forests of Sweden – our hideaway in the middle of the woods. Together with my husband, I am renovating our 170-year-old dream house here and we are enjoying life in the midst of nature. Now I want to share this special place with you and connect with travelers again. Because if I can't go out into the world, then the world can come to me. When I'm not working on our property, you'll find me somewhere out in nature: in summer with my SUP or trekking in the fells and our beautiful forests, in winter with my snowmobile, snowshoes, or skis. As an outdoor guide, I am currently turning my passion into my profession. For 2026, I am planning some exciting outdoor activities that you can book with me. I look forward to welcoming you to my place of tranquility.
