If you enjoy peace and quiet, nature, beautiful views, stargazing, campfires, and—upon request (for a small fee)—sauna evenings or soaking in the hot tub, you’re sure to feel right at home here.
The restroom and shower are located in our spa trailer at the upper end of the meadow.
We’ve recently added a ‘camper kitchen’ for our guests in a small wooden cabin. It’s equipped with a refrigerator, a 3-burner gas stove, and a sink. No one has to stand in the rain while cooking anymore.
Plates, cutlery, and cookware are provided. Our “circus tent” is the perfect spot for sheltered seating, relaxing, and dining.

The atmosphere is truly special, the sauna is a real highlight, and the walk in the woods right outside the door is simply lovely. Our kids were thrilled: table tennis, the nest swing, the circus tent, the goat, and above all, the many opportunities to explore, run around, and play hide-and-seek. The grounds offer an incredible amount of space to let loose. And honestly: keeping five kids entertained at the same time is no easy task. They had fun the whole time. A super-friendly host and a beautiful, charming, rustic spot with a lovely view.
We visited Lothar again, and for good reason. The place is simply a 5 out of 5. Lothar has created a really lovely little haven there. It has all the amenities you could need, including a kitchen, sauna, toilet, and shower. There are also grills, woks, and a fire pit available. Right behind the house, the forest invites you to go for a short or long hike. Until next time
