Host Lothar is super laid-back and friendly. You feel warmly welcomed from the very first moment. He showed me around and was always there to help with any questions. The camp is fully equipped—you’ll find everything you need right there. The barrel sauna was also very relaxing. The location is especially beautiful: right on the edge of the forest with numerous trails and stunning views. The walks through nature are simply relaxing and beautiful. The sunsets were also truly amazing. If you’re looking for peace, nature, and a friendly host, this is the perfect place. My dog and I felt very comfortable here and would love to come back when we’re in the area or passing through.

Lothar was super friendly and helpful, and his campsite has everything you need for a few relaxing nights. Even when it rains or the weather is bad, you can take shelter and sit comfortably or just build a small campfire. We highly recommend Lothar and his campsite.

Lots of sky, a chorus of blackbirds, and with a kitchen, toilet, and shower, it’s a magical place even for those who aren’t quite as hardcore when it comes to camping. Thank you so much!

What a beautiful little corner of the world! We were looking for a cozy little retreat—and we found it! It was absolutely wonderful. The sound of rain pattering on the roof, cozy warmth by the fireplace. Lothar was always attentive and courteous, without ever being intrusive. And that’s exactly how he’s designed this little world here for his guests. The small outdoor kitchen is well-equipped; the gas wok was my personal highlight, and the circus tent was a great place to hang out when the weather was bad. We even managed to squeeze in a game of table tennis. There are lovely things to discover everywhere. For us and our 1.5-year-old, it was an absolute sense of freedom. We simply couldn’t pass up the sauna with its star shower either. Wonderful! We’d love to come back 🫶. Thank you for the lovely time.

What a lovely retreat Lothar has conjured up with such attention to detail! We snuggled up comfortably in the caravan in January.

Lothar has created a really great spot. A rustic bathroom, a super kitchen and a relaxing sauna. The view is of course first class. We recommend this spot to anyone who just wants to get out and relax and round off the evening with a campfire.

It’s a beautiful place — the wagon is cozy, the view is amazing, and Lothar’s warm hospitality makes it even more special. You can easily befriend the animals on the farm, and there are great hiking spots nearby. Highly recommended!

You are offered a really nice place here. Very lovingly furnished, the host is super nice and you are greeted with a wonderful view when you get up. And from the rooster:-) The surrounding area also offers many opportunities for hiking or cycling. I can only recommend Lothar and his location

We received a very warm welcome. The meadow for camping was huge and everything was designed with attention to detail. The place is beautiful.

The overnight stays were very nice and the site offered much more than expected. From electricity, to several toilets, showers, covered places for bad weather, sauna, table tennis and even a small kitchen with fridge. Not to forget, two cute little chickens who looked after things every morning. Lothar has created a beautiful oasis of relaxation that I can only recommend. Many thanks for the wonderful time.

One of the friendliest hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, with an absolute dream spot!!! We were there with the whole family and were simply overwhelmed by how much love and sense went into everything. Nothing was left to be desired and Lothar will definitely have to host us again! It's a truly unique place in beautiful surroundings! The host was very accommodating and friendly. Our only regret is that we only stayed for one day.

We felt completely at ease. Lothar took care of everything (basically it would have been enough to bring your own toothbrush, everything else is there😄) the trailer was lovingly furnished and everything is clean. We enjoyed the fantastic view, lit the fire bowl and enjoyed the peace and quiet. That's how it should be. Highly recommended!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The trailer is designed with great attention to detail. We particularly liked the fireplace, the peace and quiet and the super cozy bed. The view is also very nice and the nearby forest invites you to go hiking.

Wonderful overnight stay in an idyllic setting. The wagon is highly recommended for lighting the stove after a long sauna session and reading a book while enjoying the beautiful view. Simply fantastic! The caravan has been lovingly renovated, the sanitary facilities are rustic, everything is very well maintained and clean. Lothar is a very friendly, uncomplicated host. The location is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet and an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions. We felt completely at home and would love to come back!

We stayed with Lothar over Easter and had a wonderful stay in the really great wagon, which is lovingly decorated. When the weather was cold and rainy on Friday when we arrived, Lothar kindly offered us the kitchen and bathroom in the house-super nice! In general, Lothar is a totally friendly, uncomplicated and likeable host. 😃 It's great to hike there and sitting on the terrace in front of the wagon in the morning/evening and enjoying the small fireplace in the evening was wonderful 🤩 Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful and lovingly built trailer. Great location on the hillside, if it hadn't been so cloudy I would definitely have been able to admire the sunset from my bed. Very nice contact. I felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

This was our second time there and, as on our last visit, we really enjoyed it. The communication was great as always. This time we even found a change in the wagon - Lothar had installed two comfortable swivel chairs and a folding table. 😊👍

Super friendly hosts. You immediately feel at home here. Everything you need is available. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If we are ever looking for a place to stay in the area again, we would love to come back.

We can absolutely recommend Hinterland. Lothar is super friendly and personable, as is his wife. Both greeted us warmly. We are both very enthusiastic about his craftsmanship and felt very comfortable in the self-built wagon and were able to relax with a warm wood-burning stove. The sauna with wood-burning stove was also great. Of course, we also loved the two goats. Everything is as described by Lothar here. We were very pleased to be the first in this nice hinterland 😊
