Our Wohnbachtroll pitch is in a rustic location on the Wohnbach not far from where it flows into the Tauber in the small village of Diebach.
We are located in the center of the "Radschmetterling", which enables 4 round trips of approx. 70km each, in the beautiful landscape of the Hohenlohe plain and the Franconian Heights.
Cultural highlights are the picturesque town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber (9km), Schillingsfürst Castle (7km), Colmberg and Leutershausen. Our site also offers a good starting point for hiking, cycling and excursion tours in the surrounding area (e.g. Wappenwanderwege 7.5-12.5km, Taubertal, Ansbach, Feuchtwangen and Dinkelsbühl.
We can be reached from the A6 and A7 highways in 10-15 minutes and therefore also offer a good opportunity to relax as a stopover.

We stayed there for one night and really enjoyed it: the staff were super friendly, the location was great, and the spot by the stream behind the big barn was beautifully landscaped.

We spent a quick 2-day getaway over Pentecost just relaxing at Bea and Lorenz’s place. We loved it, and so did our two furry friends. They’re such lovely people—so caring—and they even provided eggs from their own chickens. The campsite is quiet, with plenty of sun and shade, and a dog-friendly beach. Highly recommended—we’ll be back. Thank you so much!
We had a very spontaneous one-night stay with two RVs. We really enjoyed it; the kids were able to go on their own to the nearby swimming pond and sports field. The campsite is completely quiet and surrounded by nature. Bea and her husband are very nice and helpful.
Bea and Lorenz gave us a super warm welcome, and we spent three wonderful days on the small, beautifully landscaped meadow by the Wohnbach. It’s a great starting point for bike rides—just a 10-kilometer bike ride to picturesque Rothenburg—with romantic sunsets, a small swimming lake, and even an outdoor fitness park. What more could you ask for? All in all, it was fantastic—we felt very comfortable. Thank you both.
