Summer is just around the corner, and our spacious farmstead offers you a truly natural getaway that invites you to slow down, enjoy yourself, and relax.
We have space for 3 RVs (max. 8m) and tents right in our farm garden. With a view of our horse paddocks, you’re welcome to make yourselves right at home in our large camper and garden area, let the kids play freely, or simply unwind by the small pond. Whether you’re traveling alone, with your family, or with your furry friends: you’re welcome to stay for 1 night or even 14 nights. Our camper and tent sites are equipped with electricity (available as an add-on). You’re welcome to use the well-maintained restroom facilities with a shower, toilet, and sink, as well as an outdoor sink and a small covered seating area. Firewood and barbecue equipment are available for a small, appreciated donation. Of course, after a completely peaceful night’s sleep, you should explore the surroundings in the stunning Mecklenburg Switzerland Nature Reserve and Lake Kummerow, or take a bike ride to the many surrounding lakes of the Mecklenburg Lake District, go for a hike in nature, or take a paddle tour on the Peene River. And for those who need more (ocean) water: in about an hour, you’ll be at the Baltic Sea or in the bustling cities of Rostock, Stralsund, and Greifswald.

A very beautiful, secluded farm in an absolutely idyllic setting. Franziska and Norman are wonderful hosts and know exactly what it takes to make campers happy. The campsite is beautifully landscaped, just like the entire farm. Our stay was simply wonderful, and the kids couldn’t get enough of the horses, dogs, ducks, and chickens. The restrooms were very clean; there’s a place to wash dishes, electricity, and—if needed—eggs from the chickens and ducks. We felt very comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend this Hinterland Camp. Thank you very much.
Very friendly, and the two lively dogs were great, too. :) Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the tips for the rest of our trip. The shower and bathroom are also conveniently set up.
Franziska and Norman were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Their farm is such a beautiful and peaceful place, and it was a real pleasure to spend the night there. A very nice and spacious place to relax, with excellent restroom facilities. Franziska and Norman are exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. Whether the campground rules are necessary or seem a bit unusual to some campers from the countryside is up for debate—but it doesn’t change the overall experience. This campsite is definitely worth recommending.
