Accommodations in a beautiful mountain setting

! NO ALPINE HUT RENTAL ! Accommodation for up to 6 people. Located at 1,800 meters in the Goldberg Group, the accommodation offers 6 beds in 2 rooms. I’ve split it into 2 bookings so that you can book just 1 room. An extra bed can be added for children. No lockers in the rooms. No electricity either. The beds are made fresh after each guest. Old cabin. No luxury. Toilet available outside. No shower. A trough with fresh spring water in front of the cabin. Fishing pond. Fire pit and sauna use by arrangement.

Only sleeping accommodations are rented out for travelers passing through or those seeking peace and quiet. The living area for heating and cooking can, of course, be used as well. Cookware and cutlery are available. Since animals graze on the alpine pasture, the living area is also used by me and my children, and we sometimes sleep there in our own rooms one floor below.

Since I also rent out campsites there, you might run into someone, but otherwise it’s very secluded and quiet. Beautiful hiking area. Magnificent mountain panorama from the Großglockner to the Schober Group and the Lienz Dolomites.

Dogs allowed. Limited cell phone reception. Cell phone charging available. The drive to the cabin via a gravel road is considered an adventure. Four-wheel drive isn’t required, but it’s not the place for a Ferrari either. If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary without luxury, you’re in good hands here.
