We offer a pitch in the land of the white mountains below a huge salt mountain with a beautiful landscape and views as far as the Wasserkuppe & Inselsberg. We have electricity, water and sanitary facilities, all of which can be used for a small extra charge. Anyone who needs W-LAN is of course also catered for. A rental car is also available on site. Shopping facilities are available in the immediate vicinity. There is also a tent and a fireplace which can be used, where you can spend nice hours. If you want to hike or cycle in our beautiful nature, you are in good hands here, with a historical background, as we are located directly on the inner-German border and the Green Belt runs through us. Culturally there is also a lot to experience in the area, e.g. Merkes adventure mine, Wasserkuppe, Inselsberg, Wartburg and much more.

The Köhler family gave us a very warm welcome; communication was great, the campsites were spacious and level, and the restrooms and showers were spotless. There was even a bonfire on Saturday evening. We really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be back. Andy & Bine

Great place, great hosts, enchanting This place is just great for relaxing and unwinding. Wonderfully warm welcome. There is everything a camper needs for a great camping experience. There is seating, electricity and water. Spotlessly clean sanitary facilities and always friendly site managers who even delivered bread rolls to us. On the day of arrival we were able to sit by the fire in the evening. Unfortunately, the second day was very rainy but it was easy to bear in the cozy tent of the hosts which we could also use. We set off on a hike with our family dog into the beautiful countryside. Due to the location of the campsite below the huge Salzberg, you can see towards the Inselberg in Thuringia and the Hessian Kegelspiel. We will be back!
