Our pitch is located on a meadow directly in front of the Niedersachen Hof "Zum Hingst" between fields and woods.
The farm access road is asphalted and can therefore be used by large vehicles.
We offer you a swimming pond free of charge, which is directly connected to a stream. A small sandy beach adjoins the swimming pond.
Wohlde-Winkelsett may seem inconspicuous - but that is precisely its appeal: seclusion, nature and a character typical of the area. This is a real insider tip for camping enthusiasts who are not looking for mass tours but want to enjoy genuine tranquillity and scenery. Pack your tent, grab your family or friends and experience pure camping in the north of Germany.

A really nice, helpful, and responsive host. You’re self-sufficient here. Bike paths start right from the site. Wildeshausen is a really nice town nearby. BUT how great is that pond for swimming? 🏊 Wow! It’s not just perfect for a stopover on the way from north to south—it’s also ideal for staying a few days.
Highly recommended! I stayed there for three days with my best friend and my dog, and it really is a place to relax. The swimming pond was our favorite part, along with the peace and quiet. Plenty of space for the camper, and it was very relaxing even with a dog. The hosts were super friendly and helpful! We’d love to come back anytime.
A beautiful and very peaceful little spot! Unfortunately, we were only there for one night, but we’ll definitely plan to stay longer next time. The swimming pond and the beautiful sunset make you want to linger. Plus, the hosts were super friendly and helpful—see you next time 😁
We had a lovely, peaceful weekend here. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful—we'd love to come back.
We had a truly wonderful weekend here. The site is very simple and unspoiled—exactly as described. There’s no running water, no electricity, and no restrooms, which was perfectly fine with us. But you should know that overall, it’s still very basic. The campsite is located on a meadow next to the farm; it’s a bit uneven and bumpy in places, but it’s right in the middle of nature. We especially loved the swimming pond. Not a big swimming pool, but simply a natural pond for swimming. It was wonderful, especially in the warm weather. Surrounded by frogs, dragonflies, and swallows flying low over the water, you really get a very special sense of nature there. You can tell that a lot of things are probably still under construction here. The access road isn’t fully developed yet, and a bit more landscaping or small paths would certainly benefit the site. Maybe there will be electrical hookups someday—that would be handy just for charging bikes. But what really made the stay special were the people there. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and warm, and we even got a few good tips. All in all, we had a wonderful time and a great experience. A heartfelt thank you to the hostess for the pleasant stay and the welcoming atmosphere!
