Up to 3 mobile homes can be parked on my 1000 square meter meadow in the middle of the village of Reurieth in the GREEN. Even though it is in the center of the village, the meadow borders directly on the Werra valley with a great view of the plain. The access road is gravelled and the meadow is also partly gravelled.
I have had electricity (Schuko) and water centrally installed for you, a herb bowl has been added and a mobile fire pit is ready. Wood is also available.
From the pitch, you can go on great hikes in the "Little Thuringian Forest" or set off on longer excursions and sightseeing trips. The pitch is located directly on the Werra-Burgen-Steig trail and the Werratal cycle path. Reurieth also has a train station. The pitch is located in the center of the village directly on Dorfstraße. It's not always idyllically quiet and secluded. A village like this is alive.
JUHU ... just take care again. The country butcher's shop of the agricultural cooperative right next to the pitch is open again - with a top butcher's store and a store with baked goods where you can stock up. Actually, yes. But unfortunately the Werra does not always have enough water. This must be asked in advance at the water authority in Hildburghausen.

Reurieth has a camera museum - dates and guided tours on request - and balloon rides can be booked through the Balloon Club in Hildburghausen, which can start in Reurieth.

What a beautiful spot! Silke is so welcoming, and there’s everything you need for a night of camping. Thank you so much for the opportunity. The room with the old furniture is absolutely amazing! It’s like a little museum.
We cycled downstream along the Werra River and spent one night camping at Silke’s place. It’s a lovely spot for RVs and tents. There’s a village butcher right next to the campsite—the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Silke is a wonderful host. She lives not far from the campsite and showed us around (restrooms, kitchen, common areas). Adjacent to the campsite is an old, open farmhouse with firewood for the fire pit, where you can sit, cook, and have breakfast, for example, if the weather isn’t so good. We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this spot.
We felt very at home at Silke's, and even though the place is right in the center of town, it was very quiet and pleasant. There is so much to discover in the Old Hall that every visit felt like an adventure.
Very friendly host, lovely meadow site—perfect for relaxing for a few days. Thanks, we’d love to come back.
