Our camping meadow, with three pitches, is bordered by a wild hedge and directly adjoins our orchard.

The flat Lower Rhine region invites you to go on extensive cycling tours.
The Rhine is only about 2 km away from us.
Our rooster Oskar and his ladies, who run free all day (also in the area of the camping meadow), welcome you.

It's really nice when you feel like getting away from crowded campgrounds. The free-range chickens and the beautiful setting were very inviting; if we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.
We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Hermann’s campground. The site is quiet, very well-maintained, and lovingly landscaped. The orchard meadow and the free-range chickens create a special, natural atmosphere. Hermann is a warm, helpful, and easygoing host. Xanten, the Rhine, and the lakes are all easily accessible by bike. If you’re looking for peace and nature instead of a crowded campground, this is the perfect place for you. Highly recommended—we’d love to come back!
A truly idyllic and very peaceful spot with free-range chickens—perfect for unwinding. Everything is lovingly designed and well-maintained. Hermann is a charming, very helpful, and easygoing host who truly cares about his guests’ satisfaction. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay and explored the well-developed network of bike paths in and around Xanten on our e-scooters. Restaurants and shopping are easily accessible on foot. You can also take the bus into downtown Xanten—the bus stop is right nearby.
Our host welcomed us very warmly and kindly. The location is wonderful, nestled among fruit trees and flowers; friendly chickens come to visit, and in the evening, a rabbit sometimes stops by ;-) The grounds have been designed with a lot of care. It’s very quiet and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, and we’ll definitely come back if the place is on our travel route. Thank you :-)
Beautiful meadow. We were greeted with fresh eggs from the chickens. Storks also have their nest right next to the meadow.
