Jubelitzsee is an almost 11-hectare natural area with trees, meadows, moorland, reeds and a now smaller lake area (although you can't swim there)
There is a very large variety of species there. Many birds / birds of prey (which also breed there) / amphibians to red deer and wild boar as well as foxes etc., which can be discovered and observed if you move around quietly and carefully and take a little time to observe.
The village center, the old center of Fahrland, is about 200m from the driveway. There is a bakery with a café, a restaurant, a smokehouse and a hairdresser as well as shops for daily needs. One or the other building as well as the church are worth seeing.
The Fahrlander lake is approx. 500m away
Behind the access gate to the site there is a small, halfway paved parking area with trees which is also suitable for larger campers.
A little further along an unpaved path, near an adjacent farm building, there is another smaller parking area right next to a small field under/next to trees.
Here you can park a car up to the size of a van. Off-road mobility can be very helpful in heavy rain.
Adjacent to the property are paddocks with goats and horses on a pasture.
From the pitch you can walk very far along country lanes, fields and meadows.
There are no sanitary facilities or waste disposal facilities on site. A guest WLAN is available in the front parking lot area as well as solar power which can be used by prior arrangement if the sun is shining. However, this does not work for immediate bookings on the same day. Use and access to the areas is at your own risk. You are in the great outdoors.

In the middle section of the property, we had a lovely view of the paddocks, trees, and countryside. We’d used the spot to visit Potsdam and really enjoyed being out in nature there after a busy day in the city. In the upper part of the property, the space is a bit tighter, situated behind the solar panel containers and across from the daycare center’s outdoor area—though that’s not an issue on weekends, of course. Burkhard wasn’t there, but we’d received clear directions and instructions via text and phone. It’s a bit confusing that the property line doesn’t run along the fence but stops earlier in the open area. That’s why the neighbor eventually came over to complain about the other camper parked on his property. We also had to point out the correct parking area to the next camper who arrived during our stay (you park one behind the other with some distance between them on the right-hand side). This could be better resolved with appropriately marked photos. The filtering in the listing isn’t set correctly here either; we had filtered for a campsite in a secluded location, but the spot was double-booked during our 4 days there.
Very friendly contact. Pitch is easy to find. We parked right at the front, but could also have driven behind onto the meadow. Both are beautiful pitches. Beautiful nature in the surrounding area and a very good bakery right in the village. We would love to come back!
