In the middle section of the property, we had a lovely view of the paddocks, trees, and countryside. We’d used the spot to visit Potsdam and really enjoyed being out in nature there after a busy day in the city. In the upper part of the property, the space is a bit tighter, situated behind the solar panel containers and across from the daycare center’s outdoor area—though that’s not an issue on weekends, of course. Burkhard wasn’t there, but we’d received clear directions and instructions via text and phone.
It’s a bit confusing that the property line doesn’t run along the fence but stops earlier in the open area. That’s why the neighbor eventually came over to complain about the other camper parked on his property. We also had to point out the correct parking area to the next camper who arrived during our stay (you park one behind the other with some distance between them on the right-hand side). This could be better resolved with appropriately marked photos. The filtering in the listing isn’t set correctly here either; we had filtered for a campsite in a secluded location, but the spot was double-booked during our 4 days there.
Very friendly contact. Pitch is easy to find. We parked right at the front, but could also have driven behind onto the meadow. Both are beautiful pitches. Beautiful nature in the surrounding area and a very good bakery right in the village.
We would love to come back!
