The perfect place to sleep for bike packers, hikers, or anyone who loves the great outdoors. The loft is located above my carport. Here you can sleep and relax in the dry. There’s a 1.30-meter-wide mattress, but you’re welcome to borrow two additional folding mattresses.
Blankets, pillows, and bedding are also negotiable. Just let me know—I can make (almost) anything happen ;-)
There isn’t much headroom up there, but you don’t always have that in tents either. Plus, you can only get up there via a ladder. ...It feels like a treehouse ;-)
There’s a shared covered seating area downstairs. You’re welcome to use the garden as well. There are also several cozy spots to relax here. The café/bakery "Heimathafen" is just a few minutes’ walk away, right on the banks of the Sorpe. A nice option for breakfast right by the water.
The restroom and sink are available 24/7.
An outdoor shower with hot water is also available (seasonal).
The attic is not fully enclosed and therefore cannot be heated, making it more suitable for the summer months.
All photos were taken here or just a few kilometers away.
A two-person kayak and a SUP can be rented for €15/€10.
The price of the accommodation is based on 2 people. Each additional person is €5 extra.

We stayed with Carla for two nights in the beautiful Sauerland region. We slept in the incredibly cozy and beautifully renovated attic, which overlooks her lovingly designed garden right on the edge of the forest and just a stone’s throw from the lake. We cycled down there in the morning to pick up fresh rolls. Carla gave us a very warm welcome and had everything ready for us even before we arrived. Cooking utensils, a stovetop, a bathroom with a toilet, and even a hot outdoor shower—our absolute highlight. Showering under the starry sky followed by a campfire in the garden. The coziness and care couldn’t have been better. We had great conversations; Carla made so much possible for us, and yet we were always free to explore the area (Sorpesee) with its many activities on our own. We highly recommend this wonderful accommodation, would love to come back, and wish you, Carla, all the best from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks for everything :-)
