I travel with a Landrover Defender converted into a camper with a pop-up roof, either alone or with my two children, we love nature and the peace and quiet. Thanks to PV on the roof and a camping toilet, we can be completely self-sufficient. I look forward to quiet places close to nature and the hosts that go with them.

We spent some absolutely wonderful days in Carla’s Enchanted Garden and were able to enjoy the beautiful, charming little spots there. We had fascinating conversations with Carla about the garden and nature. She is a wonderful host and goes out of her way to make sure you feel at home. Everything went perfectly; I would stay with her again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, dear Carla. 🙏
We stayed with Carla for two nights in the beautiful Sauerland region. We slept in the incredibly cozy and beautifully renovated attic, which overlooks her lovingly designed garden right on the edge of the forest and just a stone’s throw from the lake. We cycled down there in the morning to pick up fresh rolls. Carla gave us a very warm welcome and had everything ready for us even before we arrived. Cooking utensils, a stovetop, a bathroom with a toilet, and even a hot outdoor shower—our absolute highlight. Showering under the starry sky followed by a campfire in the garden. The coziness and care couldn’t have been better. We had great conversations; Carla made so much possible for us, and yet we were always free to explore the area (Sorpesee) with its many activities on our own. We highly recommend this wonderful accommodation, would love to come back, and wish you, Carla, all the best from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks for everything :-)

Warm, very friendly and helpful hostess. Beautifully situated and lovingly designed ambience. An oasis of well-being. Would have loved to stay longer!
It was magical in Carla's dream garden, with probably the warmest hostess since Hinterland was founded. You don't even want to leave - for the many hiking, cycling or lake activities right outside the door - you have everything you need right by the car, and if something is missing, the hostess with camping experience and equipment is directly available with advice and action, (and that, although you otherwise don't see/hear her and her kids at all and the garden transforms as if by magic and you always discover something new, really fabulous) Great communication, despite totally spontaneous registration on our part, super uncomplicated and relaxed, even rescue in case of sudden rain during the hike was offered. We would add tails to the stars if it were possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Carla!
The stay with Carla was simply fantastic. She has lovingly created an oasis of well-being for her guests. A garden with great seating and the walking distance to the Sorpesee are perfect. We would love to come back, dear Carla :-)
