Large, well-maintained, family-friendly garden with a large natural pool/swimming pond, a shelter with a grill area, and a fire pit for campfires.
Play equipment for children is available (trampoline, slackline, swing, slide, sandbox).
We have a parking spot for a camper in the courtyard, though not on the lawn. Please inquire before booking to see if it’s still available.
Access to the garden is on foot only. Parking for cars is available in the lot across the street.
The launch site for canoeing on the Altmühl River is about 150 meters away.
Located directly on the Altmühl Bike Path toward Pappenheim.
Restroom in the house—unfortunately, no shower.

Natural pool available for use. Pool rules: Hours: daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Swimwear required. Before entering the pool, you must take a quick shower at the unheated outdoor shower, as the natural pond contains no chlorine whatsoever. Children may use the pool only under the constant supervision of a parent or guardian. Parents are responsible for their children.

A beautiful garden and extremely friendly hosts. It has everything you could possibly need. A beautifully landscaped pond. The only thing you should know is that it’s not really a private lawn—it’s the family’s garden.
I made a mistake when booking. Caroline was very accommodating and refunded the full amount! Very nice contact. That's also what counts!
We were guests with our two kids for two nights in this breathtaking garden and the very large tent meadow, where everything is provided for young and old. A highlight is the beautiful and large swimming pond. In the gazebo next door we found everything a camper's heart desires: washbasins, sockets, a large table and a fridge stocked with the best drinks (lemonade and beer) and barbecue food at fair prices. We felt very well looked after and thanks to the friendly host family we still managed to go on a boat trip on the Altmühl despite having missed our reservation. Thank you for that! We will definitely be back!
