The Mühlenhof is an ideal starting point for forest walks, bike tours, and geocaching. The city of Lingen is not far away, nor is the heated outdoor forest pool in Freren.

We were parked on a large meadow with two other RVs. The grass had been recently mowed, and we could park there easily without needing wheel chocks. In a separate wooden cabin, there was a spacious restroom with a sink. Next to it was a spacious shower. Anyone who wanted to could use the sauna, which was also in the building, for a fee. In the hallway outside the restroom was a well-stocked beverage fridge; the prices were perfectly reasonable. You could wash dishes outside on the meadow, but only with cold water. Small amounts of trash could be disposed of on site. Nice hosts. We could arrive and depart whenever we wanted. We’d love to come back again.
A very nice host, and we’d love to come back. It was pretty crowded, but the Pössel group was very friendly and we got along great. We’re looking forward to our next visit with Carsten at the Alte Mühle. Best regards, Sandra and Ralf A very nice place
We had a very pleasant stay. The host is super nice and friendly. Everything was neat, clean, and very well-maintained. The place is fully equipped—it really has everything you need. We especially appreciated the little extras, like the fridge stocked with drinks offered at a very fair price. You can tell that a lot of importance is placed on the guests’ comfort here. We would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this place!
Thanks for the wonderful time! We’ll definitely be back. Carsten and his wife are super nice hosts, and we had everything we needed at this campsite. We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights at the windmill. ☺️
