You live right next to our historic windmill in the middle of nature with a fantastic view of the nearby village with shopping facilities, a newly renovated swimming pool and a recreation area. From the Mühlenhof, forest walks, bike tours and geocaching are an ideal starting point. The town of Lingen is not far away. So is the heated outdoor swimming pool in Freren. If required, more pitches can also be provided. An ideal place for those seeking peace and quiet...:)

We were parked on a large meadow with two other RVs. The grass had been recently mowed, and we could park there easily without needing wheel chocks. In a separate wooden cabin, there was a spacious restroom with a sink. Next to it was a spacious shower. Anyone who wanted to could use the sauna, which was also in the building, for a fee. In the hallway outside the restroom was a well-stocked beverage fridge; the prices were perfectly reasonable. You could wash dishes outside on the meadow, but only with cold water. Small amounts of trash could be disposed of on site. Nice hosts. We could arrive and depart whenever we wanted. We’d love to come back again.
A very nice host, and we’d love to come back. It was pretty crowded, but the Pössel group was very friendly and we got along great. We’re looking forward to our next visit with Carsten at the Alte Mühle. Best regards, Sandra and Ralf A very nice place
We had a very pleasant stay. The host is super nice and friendly. Everything was neat, clean, and very well-maintained. The place is fully equipped—it really has everything you need. We especially appreciated the little extras, like the fridge stocked with drinks offered at a very fair price. You can tell that a lot of importance is placed on the guests’ comfort here. We would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

We spent Pentecost at Karsten’s in absolutely beautiful weather. We received a very warm welcome. The campground has everything a camper could want. There are great bike rides to be had in the surrounding area. In the evenings, there’s a wonderful view of the sunset. We’d love to come back. Beate and Matthias
We stopped by Carsten's place on our way to Holland. The location is absolutely beautiful. Carsten is a wonderful host.
We had a wonderful time at Carsten and his family’s mill. It had everything we needed: a toilet, shower, sauna, and a small fridge stocked with drinks at reasonable prices in case we needed anything. It’s idyllically situated among fields and meadows, and our hikes showed us that the surrounding area is just as beautiful! It’s a quick walk to the nearest town, where there are 3 supermarkets, a pharmacy, and basically everything you need. There are many farms in the area that we saw and visited on our hikes, offering various regional products (eggs, meat, pasta, etc.) at small or large farm stands. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! Until then, all the best, Janika, Hannah, Markus, and Millow
Dear Carsten, thank you so much for sharing this beautiful little corner of the world with us!!!! We felt right at home and really enjoyed our stay. Everything was SUPER clean and well-maintained. Carsten and his wife are truly warm and friendly hosts. The campsite is beautiful and quiet, and the old windmill gives it a special charm. Everything is well-signposted, so it’s easy to find your way around. The restroom and shower are top-notch, and the small infrared sauna is great for relaxing. There’s an outdoor sink, and trash disposal is also available. Everything a camper with a small van could need. Carsten is happy to provide great tips for excursions and bike rides in the area. If there’s ever an Irish night in the village, it’s definitely worth a visit. 😉 Otherwise, it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. We’d love to come back.

I was passing through with my bike and tent. Everything you need is there and a bit more. Water, electricity, a hot shower and a full fridge with drinks. I arrived and left in the dark, so I can't say anything about the view. Contact super nice and uncomplicated. See you next time.
An idyllic spot in the countryside with everything a camper's heart could desire! WLAN, electricity connection, waste bins, washing-up facilities, infrared sauna, a well-stocked self-service fridge .... and a very lovingly designed toilet and shower facility. We didn't miss anything, we felt very comfortable! Many thanks to Carsten for this wonderful time!

Pitch beautifully situated and ideal for relaxing. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Sanitary facilities nicely done and always clean. We felt completely at ease and would love to come back!
We had a wonderful and above all relaxing time. The hosts are super nice, the place is very clean, the toilets and the shower were also very clean. My highlights were definitely the horses in the adjacent paddock and the two sheep. If you want to spend a quiet and relaxing time, this is the right place and you can still be in town in 5 minutes by bike to go shopping. We would love to come back.
Unfortunately, we were only there for one day, but the scenery and the place were simply amazing. We would have liked to spend a few more days there. It's a great change of pace, especially for the dog.

We spent a great weekend at the mill with Carsten and his family. The place is very quiet and yet you are also within walking distance to Aldi and co . Shower and toilet were clean. Garbage can be disposed of on site and electricity can be booked optionally . Thank you for the hospitality.
Wonderful pitch in a great location! Lots of peace and quiet, pure nature and an absolutely relaxed arrival. The pitch is well-kept, clean and offers everything you need. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, you immediately feel welcome. Ideal for switching off, hiking and simply enjoying yourself. Definitely recommended!

Hinterland at its best, a pitch in the middle of nature. Unfortunately we were only here for one night, but we will certainly be back again. Super nice host and a beautiful pitch.

One of the most beautiful places I have been to. Carsten is a friendly and sympathetic host. The sanitary facilities provided are clean and in immaculate condition. The surrounding area is perfect for walks in the forest or bike rides. I will definitely be saving this place.

Very nice pitch near the village of Lengerich. Everything you need is available: peace and quiet, beautiful views, sunset, large pitches, electricity, modern sanitary facilities, fridge with drinks. Hiking and cycling from the site is very easy. Everything was very clean and well-kept Carsten, the host, is very friendly, a camper himself and you can tell! Here's a goodbye from us, unfortunately we haven't seen you again 🖐🏼

A really great "mini" campsite in a beautiful natural setting. Surrounded by fields, next to a horse 🐎 meadow, with all amenities, such as WC + shower, electricity and water! Thank you Carsten and your family for making it available to "us". I would love to come back!
Very nice, quiet, spacious pitch within sight of Lengerich (we didn't even have to uncouple the caravan). Fantastic view of the sunrise and sunset. "Designer" WC and shower available. We spent an N8 there while passing through. Absolutely recommendable
