Electricity

For e-cars there is the possibility of fast charging with our new Tesla wallbox for e-cars with up to 22 kW/h. Please enquire in advance if required.

Water

Cell phone reception

Cell phone reception (including 5G) is possible with all major providers. We offer professional co-working workstations in our rental office, including fiber optic connection. Please ask for details if you are interested. Conferences or meetings for up to 200 guests are possible on request.

Campfire allowed

Beautiful barbecue area (partly covered and sheltered from the wind) with a perfect sundowner setting suitable for Instagrams, plenty of seating around the fire pit free of charge, barbecues permitted (fire regulations must be observed), you can use your own barbecue, either bring your own firewood for the fire pit or purchase it on site for 7 euros per package.

Barbecue allowed

Barbecues are permitted as long as they do not cause more than an unavoidable nuisance to others. There may be legal restrictions due to the risk of forest fires in midsummer.

WiFi

According to our guests, cell phone reception with the major operators (TELEKOM, Vodafone, O2) is problem-free, so you can surf the Internet via hotspot. But we are in the countryside, so if you need high-speed internet for work, you should find out beforehand what network coverage your particular operator offers here. We offer professional co-working workstations in our rental office

Public transport

There is a bus stop right next to the property and the timetable can be viewed online. The stop is called Gnissauer Heckkaten in Ahrensbök.

Wheelchair accessible

The camp facilities are located on a meadow and can therefore only be used with the usual natural restrictions. We have already had wheelchair users with us who found the level access to showers and toilets without steps to be "ok". But please: it is a farm which, despite many renovations, still has unpaved open spaces. If accessibility is an important issue for you, please contact us BEFORE your stay with us.

Other (house rules)

Since we keep animals and especially free-range chickens and ducks on the farm (who will be happy to lay fresh eggs for you every day) we ask you to be good with them so that we can all move freely and we do not need fences or barriers. Please provide adequate supervision for children and impaired persons, as well as dogs or other pets. This is a working farm with the typical hazards associated with machinery, animals or farm work. Therefore, please exercise extra caution and consideration. Be sure to take a (cell phone) flashlight with you at night, as by nature not all paths can be sufficiently illuminated. Please do not enter stables or buildings without explicit instructions. Supervise children and infirm persons with special care. In case of emergency, fire extinguishers and first aid kits are accessible at all times in the Coastal Barn and other locations.

Farm shop

There is no "real" farm store, but you can buy fresh eggs from our own free-range chickens every day or occasionally other seasonal products in our "trust kiosk". There is also a large fridge with various drinks that can be purchased around the clock. All other shopping facilities, e.g. the large discount grocery stores such as Rewe, Aldi, Lidl (usually open until 10 pm) and 4 bakeries can be found in Ahrensbök, only 5 km away.

Waste disposal

We actively avoid waste in order to meet our own standards as an ecologically oriented company. We would therefore like to ask you to reduce the amount of waste to what is unavoidable and please only dispose of it separately in the collection bins provided.

Grey water disposal

We are biologically oriented and ask you to dispose of gray water (rinsing water, washing water) only in limited quantities and only if the waste water contains ONLY biodegradable substances. Please note: Only GREY WATER, but NO dumping possibility, i.e. NO WC disposal. The use of our scullery is also included in the electricity and water package (6 euros per day and person, children up to 6 years free of charge). Please only use biodegradable washing-up liquid. Our scullery was freshly renovated in August 2023 and offers facilities for dishwashing and laundry, including a new modern coin-operated washing machine.

EV charging

We offer our guests a TESLA wallbox with up to 22 KW/h, which is also available for all other e-cars in addition to TESLA with the appropriate adapters and charging cables. If you are interested, please contact us.
