Welcome to our meadow with its beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Located right next to the Malerweg trail, there are wonderful hikes to enjoy—a short climb takes you up to the Kleinhennersdorfer Stein with the Lichterehöhle cave, and other peaks follow......
We look forward to your visit to our KulturOrt Heymannbaude. Unless there are events taking place in the historic hall—check our calendar!—it’s very quiet here. The nights are dark and the stars are clear.

The pitch is located next to the Heymannbaude, a former GDR company holiday home and excursion restaurant. The site and the Baude are currently being rediscovered and reopened as a cultural venue. Now there is once again a SchönWetterAusschank, a small restaurant and sometimes exciting events... There is the possibility to get drinks and delicious food and to take part in the various dance courses and to visit the association and the events... more information at www.heymannbaude.org

The campground is very quiet and idyllic. The restrooms and showers are clean. It’s located right on the Malerweg trail. Torsten is a very friendly host who offers great tips for things to do and a fantastic bread roll service. Highly recommended!
It was once again really nice and relaxed at the Heymannbaude grounds.
The first one because Torsten is nice and helpful. The second one for the shower, and the third one for electricity. Unfortunately, the toilet is just an outhouse, and you can smell it all over the campground even when the weather is nice, and the campsite is totally uneven, so it’s hard to find a level spot for the tent. But overall, it was OK.
The whole point of Hinterland is that you're staying on private property rather than at a campground. For that, I'm happy to give it five stars. The site had a lot of charm, and the restrooms worked well. The staff was very friendly.
We were only there for one night, but we definitely would have stayed longer if time had allowed. There are several campsites on the green meadow, dry toilets (of absolutely top-notch quality—some campgrounds with flush toilets could learn a thing or two!), and even hot water for showering or washing dishes, as well as drinking water. As described, there are truly many hiking options, and the claim that the Malerweg trail passes right by the house is no exaggeration. Torsten is very nice, check-in and check-out were hassle-free, and events are often held at the guesthouse. Highly recommended!
