We were only there for one night, but we definitely would have stayed longer if time had allowed. There are several campsites on the green meadow, dry toilets (of absolutely top-notch quality—some campgrounds with flush toilets could learn a thing or two!), and even hot water for showering or washing dishes, as well as drinking water. As described, there are truly many hiking options, and the claim that the Malerweg trail passes right by the house is no exaggeration. Torsten is very nice, check-in and check-out were hassle-free, and events are often held at the guesthouse. Highly recommended!

Torsten gave us a warm welcome and showed us around, explaining everything. Unfortunately, it was raining, and we were standing in a meadow with quite tall grass.

Really cool spot. I guess they hold events here. Thorsten has converted a construction trailer into a small but nice bathroom facility. A wonderful shower experience with hot water. We’d love to come back when we’re in the area again.

A very friendly host who takes great care of his guests. You can set off on hikes to beautiful destinations right from here. A super quiet location, but really only for true campers—not for pampered glampers.

Torsten is super nice and helpful. He was always available and always asked if everything was OK or if we needed anything. We felt very comfortable. The building and the property also enchanted us with their special charm. We will definitely be back! Many thanks to our host

Very nice place with a very nice host! Torsten gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything with great care. There are several pitches, some are relatively sloping, so you should have chocks with you. A great place (also to start activities from there), thank you for sharing it with us!

The site at the Heymannbaude, the former company holiday home, is idyllic. Thomas is an open and generous host. It's great that Heymannbaude is being revitalized as a cultural venue.

We felt at home with Rainer. Great, natural pitch with a beautiful local mountain nearby. We would love to come back!

Torsten was a very nice and thoughtful host. He dealt with all requests quickly and was easy to reach. The place is really perfect as a hiking start and for exploring. The only thing is that the advertisement is a bit misleading. We booked all 3 pitches and thought we would be alone on the pitch, but there was more space and a large family with lots of children joined us. That was a bit different from what we had imagined, but it wasn't too bad. We still had a great time!

We spent 3 days at this beautiful and quiet campsite and felt very comfortable with our large dogs. Many beautiful hikes are possible directly from here. Thank you Rainer, we will be back! Monika and Uwe

We had a wonderfully relaxed hiking weekend, with a great pitch in the countryside. Fire pit, "wash house", bread roll service and tips for beautiful hikes ... what more could you want.

We spent 4 wonderful days on the grounds of the Heymannbaude in Kleinhennersdorf. Everything was just right: in addition to the great autumn weather and the enchanting landscape, the pitch was also perfect, where we had total peace and quiet but also nice contact with the operators of the Baude and the pitch. The compost toilet and shower in the nicely designed wash house also allow campers without a large motorhome to use the site. You can hike to a number of great destinations (Lichterhöhle, Eishöhle, Papststein with a great restaurant...) in the surrounding area and can also be in Bad Schandau in 20 minutes (Täppichsteig) to explore the wider area from there by ferry, train or Kirnitschtalbahn. The Heymannbaude is an exciting place. An old inn (www.heymannbaude.org) has recently been revived here with dance and other events. We wish Helena and Torsten every success with their "project" and look forward to seeing where it leads.

Very nice and quiet place directly below the Heymannsbaude. Toilet (DIY) is completely sufficient. Very cool shower (also outside) and washbasin (all with hot water). Great starting point for exciting hikes. Malerweg not far away. For us it was two wonderful, quiet and hiking days. Food in the Liethenmühle is highly recommended. They cook with love here. Our two dogs were able to run free. There is a playground on the premises.
