A little oasis on a farm near Cuxhaven

Hi there!

Located across from an active farm, we offer a beautiful, private campsite—perfect for us—with lots of colorful flowers and plants.

Our “oasis,” covering about 500 square meters for your exclusive use, is nestled between grain fields (2026 right next to a rapeseed field) and a small chicken and duck pasture (starting around mid-year, a few animals will be roaming here).

In the evenings, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets with a view across the vast fields, and in the mornings, you’ll be woken up by the sun’s rays.

Looking for some shade? Then feel free to take a seat under our ancient linden tree, for example. There’s also a tree swing here.

Various seating options and loungers are available. There’s also a grill, a fire pit (wood available for a fee), a drinking water connection, an electrical outlet, and a restroom (composting toilet). If you’d like, feel free to take a cool shower under the garden hose ;-). If the fruit, herbs, and vegetables in the garden are ripe, feel free to help yourselves (for a small donation).

For kids, we have a trampoline, balls, a go-kart, and, of course, our farm animals (cows, calves, and a dog that loves kids and is great for cuddling). To get there, you’ll need to cross the street once.

From our farm, it’s about 1.4 km to the town center, where you’ll find several supermarkets, restaurants, gas stations, bakeries, and a train station. If you ever need a bike for a short time, just let us know.

Cuxhaven is 30 km away, and Hamburg is about 100 km away (easily accessible by train). The Elbe ferry terminal to Wischhafen (crossing to Glückstadt) is about 30 km away. In the immediate area, you’ll find the wonderful Wingster Forest, the Wingst swimming pool, the Wingst playground, the Wingster Forest Zoo, Neuhaus Water Skiing, a brewery, and a liquor store.
