Frank and Melanie are wonderful, warm hosts. This lovingly designed place really won us over and was the highlight of our trip.
We had the exclusive pleasure of staying with absolutely wonderful hosts on a beautiful and well-maintained property. I highly recommend it.
Melanie and Frank have created a beautiful spot behind their farm, and we would definitely recommend visiting. We camped there, but because of the rainy weather, we were able to use the cabin to eat and spend time there. The spot is so lovingly and thoughtfully designed that it’s truly a joy to be there! From Cadenberge, there are excellent train connections to Otterndorf and Cuxhaven, as well as toward Hemmoor and Hamburg, running well into the late evening. Great location! Melanie, Frank, and Ferdinand, thank you so much for the wonderful spot you’ve made available!!!
We loved the place as a stop-over. Quiet, rural and everything you need for a visit. Highly recommended.

Lovingly designed and with endless space. The host family is incredibly friendly—open, direct, and honest in that Nordic way. They let us do as we pleased and park our EV microcamper wherever we wanted. However, we couldn’t park under the linden tree, as that would have damaged the beautiful flower beds. There was also ripe lettuce, radishes, and other vegetables ready to be picked. Unfortunately, we’d just bought some in Hemmoor. The herb garden has the usual suspects, plus some delicious mint—perfect for these last few hot days. We felt very comfortable there and would love to come back. Thank you so much for the three relaxing days and for making the booking and communication so easy.

We had a wonderful time at this campsite and enjoyed every moment. The site is lovingly designed, very quiet, and simply special. The composting toilet was clean, there are vegetable beds, and even a tree swing, which adds a unique charm to the place. The family is incredibly friendly and warm, so you feel right at home. You should bring your own drinking water, as the water on-site comes from a garden hose. That’s good to know and wasn’t a problem for us. A real highlight was the homemade strawberry and plum jam, which is available for a small fee—it tastes amazing! We would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend this campsite.

We were given a really warm welcome. The place was great. It had everything we needed, and the staff took great care of us. We had a lot of fun.
The booking was quick and uncomplicated. We received a friendly welcome and had a lovely long weekend.

What a gem near Cuxhaven! We are "camper newbies" and wanted to test our new vehicle extensively for a weekend. The pitch is simply "deluxe" in the most natural sense: lots of space, well maintained, everything available (electricity, water, separate toilet, barbecue, seating) and lovingly and creatively laid out with flowers, vegetables and herbs. Eating a freshly picked salad in the evening and enjoying the sunset next to the huge lime tree - wonderful! Melanie and Frank are really nice hosts: communicative, helpful and close to nature. We are absolutely thrilled and will be back!
