We are planning a real camper project on this idyllic meadow: A motorhome and caravan harbor is to be built here! We are still at the very beginning, but we would already like to invite you to spend some truly original camping days here!
Discover the magic of this place and come to Schmirma for a few days to unwind!
The meadow is almost 2000 square meters in size and is directly adjacent to extensive field paths that invite you to take relaxing walks or bike rides, for example to the Geisel spring. On the other side of the meadow is the village church with the famous ceiling paintings by the artist Karl Völker - guided tours are of course possible!
It is only 2 minutes by car and 10 minutes by bike to the "Marina Mücheln" harbor with restaurants and boat hire. At the Geiseltalsee there are also great beaches, a dog beach, a fantastic wine tavern on the vineyard and lots of opportunities for activities!

Very friendly hosts and a very quiet area… Right in the middle of the countryside! It’s just a 10-minute bike ride to the beautiful Geiseltalsee or to pop out for some quick shopping! We’d love to come back!
We stayed at the campground for two nights and had a wonderful time there. Communicating with Anna, who was acting as our host, was super easy and super friendly 😍. The campsite is still a work in progress, as mentioned in the description, but it already has everything a camper’s heart desires, and you can already see where it’s headed. We’ll definitely be back, because the bike path around Geiseltalsee was absolutely gorgeous 🤗 (see photo). Thanks to Anna for the hassle-free experience!
It was wonderful here—everything you could need was right here! Plus, it’s a very pretty, quiet spot that’s been lovingly designed. You’ve really created a lovely little campground; we felt very at home.
The host was very nice—even though we didn't get to meet in person. The place is small but cozy. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and had everything we needed. We could have even sat inside. We were very satisfied!
Everything you need is provided and in good condition. The ground is extremely hard, so be sure to bring sturdy tent stakes and a mallet. Friendly staff and a smooth experience. We also had some nice neighbors at the campsite. All in all, we’d love to come back.
