A really nice campsite, spotlessly clean restrooms, a refrigerator, and a grill. Plus, the staff were super friendly… We’d love to come back! 😊
We had three peaceful nights; everything we needed was there, and Hans, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back anytime.

The staff was very friendly, and the campground is great—it has everything you need (restrooms, showers, and a kitchen area). They checked in on us every day to make sure everything was okay. They even left a few rolls outside our door—thanks!! A special shout-out to Hans for that. We might come back again.
Just the way you like it: a warm welcome, a great spot—everything's perfect.
A fantastic campsite—it has everything you need, even a fridge and a coffee maker. Hans is a caring site manager; he’s super nice and has lots to share, especially about the restored village church. The lake is actually only 2 km away. Thanks again for everything. We had a completely relaxing Pentecost holiday. We also had pleasant conversations with our neighbors, who are fellow RV owners. By the way, don’t worry—the church bells won’t wake you up!!!
We stayed at the campsite over Pentecost and had a wonderful weekend. Hans, the owner, is incredibly hospitable, and he also shares a wealth of local knowledge. The highlight was a 90-minute guided tour of the church led by him. The campsite includes a simple bathroom—which is perfectly adequate—as well as a new, small kitchen. We highly recommend it, and it’s not far from Lake Geiseltal either.
The campsite is a large meadow with open, unmarked areas located right next to a village church (without bells) in a quiet village of 120 residents. Electrical hookups, a kitchen sink, and restrooms/showers are available; some of the site’s facilities are still under construction. Geiseltalsee Lake is two kilometers away. There, and in the surrounding area, there are many cycling and hiking opportunities. Shopping and restaurants are in Mücheln (approx. 4 km), where the train station is also located; the A38 highway (Merseburg-Süd) is about 10 km away. You’ll quickly strike up a conversation with the friendly and humorous family that runs the place. They’re down-to-earth and practical, and have plenty of tips on the surrounding area. Highly recommended!
I had a wonderful getaway 😀 Nice and quiet, well-kept, and welcoming... Thank you!!!
A very nice campsite right in the center of the village next to the church, with a covered seating area. Great bathroom with a shower and toilet. We received a very warm welcome from Hans (Anna’s father), who even showed us the church in the morning…we’ll be back! Best regards from Hinrich & Imke
A quiet and relaxing spot—where you can enjoy sunsets all to yourself. Thank you very much for the warm welcome
Very nice, quiet pitch. Everything was ready when we arrived. Electricity, water, clean toilet/shower, everything available. We will definitely be back. Very nice contact via chat.
Great view of the church. Everything is relaxed and uncomplicated.
Great hostess, clean toilet, quiet place, thanks for the apples (a bucket of apples was in front of our mobile in the afternoon) nice gesture. Gladly again for 1 day/night.
Nice, quiet pitch with a view of the fields and church. Absolutely clean toilet and shower. We were presented with bread rolls and fruit and were given an expert guided tour of the church. Many thanks for everything!
It was a really great weekend! The pitch is great and leaves nothing to be desired. Very friendly, courteous and uncomplicated hosts. There were even fresh bread rolls every morning 😀 We definitely want to take a look at the church, which didn't ring once during our weekend, as soon as it opens again. We would love to come back! Absolutely recommendable!
Very nice host nice quiet place especially nice welcome 😅 I can definitely recommend it to others we will definitely be back 😁👍
Quiet place, very nice area :)
Thank you for the great stay with you. We really felt welcome. ... and thank you for the nice surprise on Sunday morning 😊
Very well-kept site in a quiet location. Ideal for a stopover!
We were given a super nice welcome and entertained. The water bowls were ready for our dogs. Clean toilet 🚻 and shower We will be back 👍🏻😎Thank you
Cute camping meadow with super clean sanitary facilities. Simple but perfect for relaxing. Our host was incredibly nice and helpful. The route to the Geiseltalsee is easy to reach on foot, even with dogs. We will definitely be back!
Small but nice describes the place best, I'll definitely be back!
This stay is incredibly loving and unique. You get exactly what you have booked: A meadow by the church with sanitary facilities. New and very clean. I was thrilled and will be back. Thank you so much for everything!!! 🫶🏼
Very nice, quiet pitch with uncomplicated and very nice hosts, the guided tour through the very well preserved church including a tour of the tower is free of charge. We would love to come back 😊
This cute little campsite is a real gem! You can tell that it is still under construction, but that doesn't bother you at all, because the most important things are already there: Water, electricity, toilet and shower are already there and work perfectly. There is also a fireplace/barbecue area and a few seating options, perfect for cozy evenings. Shortly after my arrival, I was greeted personally by the owner in a very friendly manner, which made the start immediately pleasant. A small suggestion for improvement for the future: perhaps you should think about turning off the hourly ringing of the church bell between 10pm and 7am. This would make the otherwise quiet nights even more pleasant and ensure a truly undisturbed night's sleep. I spent one night here and would love to come back!
Great host with a very nice welcome the next morning. the next morning. Thank you very much!
The ideal place for us, pure peace and quiet, standing all alone on the large meadow. The bike tour around the Geiseltalsee was fantastic (approx. 30 km). We'll definitely be back to see how things have developed.
