Camping by the stream - pure nature with a view of the Steinerne Meer

Our campsite is idyllically situated right next to a small stream and offers a fantastic view of the Steinerne Meer. Whether with a tent, camper or motorhome - here you will find peace, nature and a wonderful view.

Centrally located between Saalfelden and Zell am See, you can easily reach popular excursion destinations by bike:

🚲 Ritzensee in approx. 10 minutes

🚲 Lake Zell in approx. 20 minutes

A special highlight is our house beaver, who likes to show himself by the stream and curiously observe our guests. 🦫

Winter camping is also possible with us - with a cozy atmosphere and snow-covered nature.

The train occasionally passes by in the background - a quiet and even charming detail for many guests.

We look forward to welcoming you soon - camping as it should be: uncomplicated, warm and close to nature.

  • A campsite surrounded by nature with a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains—perfect for those who love peace and quiet and the great outdoors. Please note: There is no electricity or running water; only dry toilets are available. Those sensitive to noise should be aware that a train runs nearby (the tracks are right next to the site).

  • Beaver came at 3 am, amazing location, would recommend, only the train can get quite noisy.

  • We were just passing through for two days, and the campground with its view is fabulous. The campsites on the lawn are nice and spacious, the restroom was always clean, and communication was quick and seamless. Yes, the train runs by, but it didn’t bother us much. All in all, we can highly recommend this campground and would love to come back.

  • A very nice, quiet, and secluded campsite with a great view. The location is perfect for mountain bikers: It’s situated almost exactly between Leogang and Saalbach, so you can reach both biking areas very quickly. I stayed here for several days and found it ideal for that very reason. During the day, the site was pleasantly quiet. While there are quite a few guests, most only stay one or two nights while passing through, so there’s a constant turnover. The train tracks right next to the site see fairly frequent traffic. Personally, it didn’t bother me at all, but light sleepers should be aware of this. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see the beaver mentioned in the description. 😄 You can get fresh water and dispose of gray water at the farm—just ask the owners. They’re both very friendly and helpful. There are shopping options and swimming pools in the immediate area. For me, the campsite was a great base for several days of mountain biking in Leogang and Saalbach. I’d come back anytime!

  • You can’t be sensitive to noise—the railroad tracks are right next to the campsite. There’s no water at the campsite itself; you’ll have to get it from the operator across the railroad tracks. However, the underpass is very narrow and only 2.8 m high, so we couldn’t use it—the detour is about 5 km. The composting toilet is a large container; you cover your waste with the provided sawdust. It really needed to be emptied during our stay. The sites are spacious, and there’s plenty of distance between them. Restaurants and shops aren’t within walking distance—they can only be reached by bike at most.
