Escape the heat—and breathe in the fresh forest air at 800 m.
Up here, you’ll find a real starry sky, moonlight, and the sounds of nature: the babbling of a stream, the rustling of the wind, and pure forest tranquility.
The campsite offers everything that makes for a great nature camping experience—and at a particularly affordable price:
tree swings, kids’ vehicles, skateboards, tree climbing (at your own risk), and a viewing platform in the treetops.
Plus, an unspoiled stream right on the property, a small pond with a playhouse, and even the chance to chop wood—an adventure for kids and adults alike.
Just 500 m from the old pond. As Herbert says:
“If there’s no more water there, there won’t be any water anywhere.”
A prime location in the heart of nature.
Your Thomas from the Alm—where nature still reigns supreme and the stream provides the background music.

Between trees
You can park your motorhome on the meadow or pitch your tent between the trees.

Between fields
All around you can feel at home, the neighbor's alpine cows and horses can be admired within sight.

On a farm
Several Waldviertel farms are located right nearby, giving the area a particularly authentic feel. Campers can enjoy a peaceful, rural atmosphere here, with meadows, fields, and animals within sight. Just a few steps away is the Eigner family’s farm stand, where Microcampers can find regional products—from fresh eggs and seasonal vegetables to homemade specialties. It’s ideal for anyone who likes to shop locally while camping and wants to fully enjoy the surroundings.

By the lake
A Natural Paradise to Recharge Your Batteries On our idyllic property, you’ll find a small pond (formerly a fishing pond)—a place of relaxation right on your doorstep, surrounded by majestic trees and complete silence.

By a river/stream
A stream winds its way through the woods and meadows on the property. Its source is just 500 meters further into the woods.

In the mountains
They aren't very high mountains, but they're high enough to count as a mountain range in the Waldviertel;) Info: The Prehistoric Mountains About 350 million years ago (during the Variscan era), there was a massive mountain range here, estimated to be between 5,000 and 7,000 meters high.

With a shady place
The trees on the property invite you to rest in the shade :)

At/in the forest
The forest is crossed by streams and is a beautiful wetland. There are lots of berries and mushrooms to be found in the forest.

In a meadow
The meadow by the pitch offers enough space to daydream.
Toilet
There's no bathroom, but a real camper knows how to handle that;)
Dogs welcome
Cats welcome
Horses welcome
There is space for horses among the trees, and the horse paddock can be used by arrangement, as it is also located on our property.

The Palmenhaus Sauna by the fish pond has its own electrical outlet that Microcamper users can use at any time. It’s perfect for small devices such as cell phone chargers, power banks, e-bike chargers, or lights.

Thomas was very friendly. A spacious, quiet spot with a beautiful view. We'd love to come back.
Great place, quiet location—only a few cars drive by. We explored the area by bike, and there's so much to discover! Something to keep in mind: The neighbor's dog and cat come to visit every day—and they like to stick around...
We spent one night here. There was a sauna—it was really great in the evening. Plus, the sky was full of stars. Our host also recommended a nice walk. The parking spot was a little uneven, but with two chocks, it worked out just fine. All in all, it was really great.
It was absolutely wonderful
We thoroughly enjoyed every day. Everything was just as described. It’s simply a dream come true for anyone who loves authentic camping. If any minor issues come up, Tom, the very friendly host, is available by phone to offer advice.

I look forward to welcoming you to my alpine pasture!
