We thoroughly enjoyed every day. Everything was just as described. It’s simply a dream come true for anyone who loves authentic camping. If any minor issues come up, Tom, the very friendly host, is available by phone to offer advice.

Very quiet location... great hiking trails right off the campsite... friendly staff, everything went smoothly... electricity and water available on-site... the neighbors' dogs stop by several times a day, so keep that in mind if you're traveling with dogs. The train no longer runs, and the tracks have been abandoned... all in all, a great, peaceful spot... highly recommended... we'd love to come back
A truly beautiful and relaxing place. The surrounding forests are perfect for walks. We loved the campfire the most. 😊
Thomas is a wonderful host and has a beautiful mountain campsite. The views are breathtaking and the quite is refreshing, also his sauna rocks!
The host was super nice, but communication was a bit confusing. When we got stuck in his field (he didn’t discourage us from parking there despite the heavy rain), we had to find a local farmer ourselves to help pull us out. Despite all that, the surrounding nature is beautiful. The spot is very sloped; wheel chocks are absolutely necessary.
