  We never actually met Ullrich; our first contact was with his nephew, who roughly showed us where we could set up our tent. As hosts, the guys from *The Texas Chainsaw Massacre* would certainly have been more likable. The bathroom and shower would have fit right into that movie, too. The campsite is very noisy because it’s right next to a road. You can’t really complain about the noise a tractor makes early in the morning—after all, work has to get done on a farm. If you’re not interested in being a host, maybe you should just skip it.

  We only had contact with Ulrich over the phone; he just told us to park anywhere. We parked in the courtyard next to all sorts of things. We had to find our own power source and even install the fuse ourselves. The toilet in the barn takes some getting used to and really shouldn’t be offered as such. We can’t say anything about the parking spots on the meadows, except that there’s no electricity there. Overall, it’s really quiet and the highway is easily accessible. The people were very nice, but that’s not what we imagine a parking spot to be like.

  Unfortunately, the cancellation was not accepted, even though the stay did not take place.

  We had to look around a bit to find the place. A small sign would be great. Other than that, everything was fine. The restroom and shower are located in the barn, and it takes some getting used to for those who are particular about cleanliness. But it’s definitely sufficient for basic needs.
