Unwind and come visit us in the Tecklenburger Land! Nestled among the trees of our orchard, separated from the Mittelland Canal only by a dike, you’ll find our circus wagon. Surrounded by nature, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, wave to the deer and squirrels, or simply unwind with a glass of red wine by the crackling fireplace.

In the morning, you can welcome the first rays of sunshine with a cup of coffee on the porch, watch the boats on the fog-shrouded canal, or simply listen to the sounds of the birds and nature.

Afterward, take a walk through the autumn forests, meadows, and fields, and in the evening, head to the sauna park at the nearby sulfur spa to reflect on the day. Or simply discover your private sauna hut right outside your door!

What could be better than warming up by the fire in the sauna after a chilly day?

Rent our wood-fired sauna and make yourself comfortable in its cozy warmth. Bathrobes, sauna towels, aromatic sauna infusions, and wood for 3–4 hours are, of course, included—for a relaxing evening in the sauna with absolutely no extra effort.

DEEP RELAXATION WITH SOUND & YOGA:

To deepen your relaxation and truly connect with yourself, you can book a soothing sound bath, a yoga class, or a sound massage (also for two) as an add-on. See below for more information.

WHAT THE CIRCUS TRAILER OFFERS:

Our completely self-sufficient and insulated circus trailer is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, self-generated green electricity, running cold water, and a rapid-boil kettle (with temperature preset), facilities for making coffee and tea, an induction cooktop, a refrigerator, a fireplace, infrared heating, dishes, dish soap, and much more. Bed linens and towels are also provided. Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own linens if you prefer. You’ll find a dry-separation toilet, which is cleaned regularly, next to the wagon. In the summer, you can use a shower tent. A fire pit and a swivel grill are also available. You can get firewood from us in exchange for a donation. That’s glamping at its finest!

You can start hiking right from our farm—hiking trails begin right at your doorstep. The premium hiking trails of the Teutoschleifen and the extensive trail network of the beautiful Tecklenburger Land beckon. Go for a jog along the canal or take endless bike rides through meadows, fields, and forests, or even make a detour to the nearby Marina Recke and the outdoor forest pool, as well as the area’s climbing spots (e.g., the Dörenther Cliffs). In the evening, enjoy a glass of red wine right by the canal, on the cozy seating area among the fruit trees, or on your own balcony by the circus wagon with a view of the passing ships—these are the simple yet wonderful pleasures your stay with us offers. And if the weather happens to be bad, you can simply head to the nearby Schwefelbad Steinbeck with its sauna park and indoor/outdoor swimming pools. We’re happy to provide you with more excursion tips, maps, and a guest folder with information.

Here, you’ll hear the little owl hooting at night, the woodpecker pecking during the day, and in the morning, curious deer sometimes stand right outside your window. Thanks to the large bird sanctuary at nearby Heiligen Meer, our garden is a playground for all kinds of birds.

We keep a colorful flock of chickens and run a small on-farm beekeeping operation with great care. You can watch the hardworking bees right from your window. Depending on the season, you can purchase our farm-fresh products—such as colorful organic eggs, honey, and fruit from our garden—right here on the farm. Despite our rural setting, bakeries and village stores are very close by—you can reach them on foot or by bike in just a few minutes.

Upon request, we can also provide you with 2 rental bikes (no e-bikes) for a small fee.

Breakfast service? No problem! Upon request, we’ll bring you a breakfast basket in the morning filled mostly with organic products.

Osnabrück, Lingen, and Rheine are just a 30-minute drive away.

Upon request, we offer relaxing yoga classes, immersive sound journeys (gongs, antique and crystal singing bowls, and many other delightful instruments), as well as sound massages.
