The parking spot for self-sufficient campers is located on a beautiful meadow right next to our farm. (If the meadow is not accessible by vehicle, there is a paved parking spot on the farm.)

Lake Sonthofen is just five minutes away (there’s also a portable toilet there), and the town of Sonthofen is 15 minutes away.

Bernhard is very friendly; he even showed me the way to the lake, the nearby restaurant, and the bakery. The campsite itself is in a great location! It's a 5-minute walk from the lake. The night was quiet.
A truly great campsite with a fantastic view. The communication beforehand was very brief. But once we arrived, Bernhard was very friendly. It was a wonderful, self-sufficient 5-day stay.
Great self-sufficient campsite. We'd love to come back. It was perfect with our two Golden Retrievers.
We were there for a total of 5 days with 1 tent and our car; on day 3, 2 friends joined us with their car and a pavilion, and even so, there was still plenty of space =)
We had a great time at Bernhard’s; we were able to park all by ourselves on his meadow and enjoy the mountain views from there. It was very quiet; everything went smoothly when we arrived, and Bernhard was very accommodating. We highly recommend this campsite!
